Hi Everyone,

It's been 8+ years since a group of friends came together with the sole purpose of spreading their love for country line dancing here on Long Island. Some of the faces have changed over time but our brand and our motto haven't. We don't dance with our feet, we dance with our hearts.

Running a business to create dance environments for others to enjoy has been fullfilling but also takes time. The time that goes into doing what we do is more than anyone, who doesn't do it, could ever imagine.

They say time is money. We say time is priceless. Especially when you consider where you spend it. When there are young kids at home starting to grow in school, sports, clubs and other activities, you start to value your own time differently. This has not been easy to decide, but it's for that reason that Regina and Frankie have decided to hang up their boots.

Also, our team as a whole has been growing in their lives as well. We've been friends by each other's side as some lost loved ones, fought their own health or financial battles, got married, bought houses, had babies, landed their dream job and some have moved out of NY.

For all of these reasons combined, LI Classic Country has decided to close the doors on this chapter of our lives. We have enjoyed every moment with all of you and will always remember those times.

Erika and DJ Jeff from our team will continue The Warehouse weekly, as well as Sunken Meadow State Park next summer as well. You'll hear more information about that real soon and we hope you all continue to support her and the Warehouse!

Thank you for all the years of friendship and fun out on the dancefloor.

Big thanks to everyone who stuck around and waited out the little bit of rain last night at Sunken Meadow! Especially The Rustlers
It was a bit of a rocky start but it ended up being an incredible night!
This cloud came out of nowhere and delayed our start but man was it beautiful.

The Boat Yard Waterfront Bar and Grill tonight. Live Music from 7pm to 10pm with SouthBound LI. Beginner dance lesson taught by Frankie & Regina between band sets.
Awesome food and great spirits so grab a friend and come on down!

Hey all! Sunken Meadow starts TOMORROW!!!! I can’t contain my excitement. I’m creating a playlist (like usual) to play between Urban Rodeos (and other bands this summer) sets.
I remember always getting requests on songs to play during those breaks but with the poor reception on my iPad down by the beach, I can’t add songs once the playlist is made for the night.
So I had an idea 🙂
Please take a quick minute to fill out this Google Form if you would like to request a song. I will try my best but can’t guarantee they will all be played. I will be there early so I will likely close this form around 4:00 tomorrow afternoon.

Keep in mind my playlist will not include any songs that will be played by the band. I don’t want to repeat songs.

This is just an idea I had, I hope it works 🙂

I am taking requests for Sunken Meadow since I don’t get service down by the boardwalk I can’t add songs once I’m there. I thought I might try something different this year and ask for requests before so I can add them to the list. :)

Salt Shack NY every Tuesday with LI Classic Country Entertainment is always a party!

SouthBound LI had the place jumping and we were able to introduce so many new people to line dancing for the very first time! Filling the funnel to keep this great community going strong.
