Goat Island Gatherings is an outdoor venue located on the Intracoastal Waterway and only accessible by boat. Just minutes from the Isle of Palms Marina, Goat Island is very private and quiet surrounded by grand oaks, tall palmettos and miles of pristine marsh. Your guests will be treated to a white sandy beach, beautiful native gardens and an fine example of southern hospitality. Our preferred vendors will do everything so you can relax and enjoy your special event.

I’d like to take a minute and thank everyone who supported our missions up to Burnsville since Hurricane Helene.

There are a lot of people in a world of hurt. Mountain folk are so resilient and strong. They are going to get through this together with their strong faith in God.

The recovery work is far from over. There are a lot of trucks and dozers, manpower rebuilding washed out bridges and roads so people can get out into town where all the supplies are staged.

World Central Kitchen and The Cajun Army/Navy continue to feed people daily. The National Guard has tons of equipment removing debris, mud and rocks. Some folk will not have electric for months.

Please continue to pray for them and to continue to donate to worthy organizations like World Central Kitchen. When the time is right to visit, your tourist dollars will go a long way towards uplifting their economy.

Again, thank you for all you’ve done. It has meant so much to all of us ❤️‍🩹
