I love when these moments are captured! 🔥📸

The photographer caught the excitement of the moment everything slowed down… upside down eye contact mid backbend with the fire spinning toward me.

I embodied the energy, speed, and intensity of the Race World Offshore Key West Championships. 🌊🏁

Performing during offshore race week in Key West brings a different kind of adrenaline to the stage.

On stage at Coffee Butler Amphitheater for the Concert & Awards in 2022.

🌺🔥 Barefoot Daisy Returns to the Asian Culture Festival 🔥🌺

Celebrating Asian Pacific Islander Month Once Again at Asian Culture Festival with Florida Keys Belly Dance and Hipnotic Dance Studio 📍 Tropical PARK

Join us Saturday, May 30, 2026 as Barefoot Daisy of Islamorada Barefoot Fire Dance brings her signature Bellynesian Fire Fusion back to the Asian Culture Festival! ✨

Inspired by the spirit of the Pacific Islands and the greater Asia-Pacific region, this performance blends Polynesian-inspired movement, Bellydance Fusion, island rhythms, and the elemental beauty of fire.

This year I’ll be dancing with my beautiful leather lotus fire palms 🪷— one of my favorite specialty props for creating flowing hand undulations, fiery lotus blooms, and hypnotic island-inspired movement under the flames. 🔥🌺

✨ Did You Know?
The term “Asian Pacific” often includes both Asian and Pacific Island cultures because of ancient migration routes and shared connections across the Pacific Ocean. Polynesian ancestors are believed to have descended from Austronesian seafarers who journeyed from areas connected to Southeast Asia and Taiwan thousands of years ago — eventually becoming some of the greatest ocean navigators in human history. 🌊🛶

🔥 Must Do— HDS Henna Tent❣️
Stop by my home studio’s tent, Hipnotic Dance Studio for beautiful Henna art and more cultural festival vibes throughout the day! ✨

Expect:
🔥 Bellynesian Fire Dancing
🔥 Lotus Fire Palms
🔥 Tropical Elegance

Come celebrate culture, rhythm, movement, and the spirit of the islands with us! 🌴✨

Corporations Keep Trying To Bind Me 🇺🇸

Last year I was hired for a small community event in Cudjoe Key and honestly… it reminded me what the Florida Keys are really about. Real people. Real community. Barefoot kids dancing. Local musicians. Artists collaborating. Sunset celebrations with true island spirit. 🌴✨

Tag the venues, festivals, bars, resorts, restaurants, and local events still supporting independent artists and local entertainment in The Florida Keys this July 4th. 👇🇺🇸🔥
I want to hear who’s keeping the REAL Keys spirit alive.

Lately, corporations have been trying to come into The Florida Keys and bind artists at resorts and restaurants with exclusivity agreements, restrictions, and non-solicitation clauses.

Good luck with that. 😆⛓️‍💥

The Keys were built on individuality, collaboration, local relationships, and creative freedom. Many of us have spent years building direct connections with venues, private clients, wedding planners, restaurants, resorts, and the community itself. That independent spirit is part of what makes this place special.

Daisy Ellis of Islamorada Barefoot Fire Dance maintains established direct relationships with resorts, venues, and private clients throughout The Florida Keys. She does not enter into exclusivity agreements, non-solicitation clauses, or contractual restrictions that limit future direct bookings unrelated to independently arranged events.

Still waiting for that next event with the REAL freedom vibes. 🇺🇸🔥
