After 65 years in business, we have decided to retire. The Belak family and employees would like to thank our customers for their loyalty and business. We have met and made many friends over the past six decades. It has truly been a pleasure to serve our community.

July has been a very busy month….and we have been in full wedding mode for most of it. Darlene (our secretary) and Beth (designer) are in-laws and their family keeps us busy. Two weddings for this family this month! Step brother, Jeff, married his high school sweetheart after reconnecting after decades apart.

“Cuz” Brian gained a new daughter-in-law when his son said “I do”! Darlene gave him a few transport tips as he was in charge of getting the flowers to their destination. Beth couldn’t watch…lol! (Everything arrived in tact.)

Karen (designer) didn’t get a chance to catch her breath either! Mock up sizing and selecting just the right flowers to place next to each other to create the perfect design. It was a romantic wedding for a long time customers daughter with set up! Mom, Kathy, stopped in and had a sneek peek of her daughter’s bouquet.

Three weddings with very different themes…all absolutely Belak Beautiful…and this is why we are still here after almost 65 years!

As we wind down from the graduations and head into the summer months and weddings, we enlisted the help of one of our smallest designers, Addy. She stopped by to inspect the recent shipment of flowers for quality and freshness. She approved! She also told her Mimi to clean her work station while her great aunt took her outside to decorate the sidewalk. Two days in a row we have had customers call to say that they ordered from us when in fact they ordered from a third party vendor. If you simply type Belak Flowers in your browser and select the first address that pops up, you most likely are NOT on our site. 3rd Party vendors pay large sums of money to have their sites pushed ahead of ours. Make sure the header on the web site says Belak Flowers Irwin Pa! We can not help you if it wasn’t us that received the order.

We can NO LONGER ACCEPT ORDERS for Penn Trafford AND Norwin homecoming. We are at capacity. We always suggest you reserve your spot as soon as you find out when it is. Unfortunately, two schools have it on the same day and we can only fill so many orders.

Little Miss Addy stopped by today to visit her Mimi! She entertained her Great Aunt Darlene and Michele. Eric was out so we decided to put her to work in his place. Let’s just say she lacks a few necessary skills. A for effort though! She could not write a check, issue payroll or count money and let’s just say the phone skills were seriously lacking. She did however sit for a pic on Mr. Belak’s bench outside (Michele bribed her with a pretzel rod but that’s okay). Addy wants to remind everyone to get your MOTHER’S DAY orders in soon! AND DON’T FORGET GRANDMA!
