Today we celebrate Cognac, a world-renowned French Brandy with a rich history and strict production standards.

Here are a few things that make Cognac unique:

🇫🇷 It must come from the Cognac region of France — just like Champagne!

🍇 It's made from specific grapes (mostly Ugni Blanc), double distilled in copper pot stills.

🛑 It must be aged in French oak barrels for at least 2 years.

🥃 Labels like VS (Very Special), VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale), and XO (Extra Old) indicate how long it’s been aged.
