We get it - you see the cutest setup like this airplane installation on your feed, and you instantly want to know the price! But the truth is, we can’t give you an accurate quote from a single inspiration photo or a DM screenshot. 🛑✈️

When you look at this photo, you see balloons, a custom backdrop, and a theme. When we look at this photo, we see a complex equation that is completely unique to this specific day:

• The Venue Logistics: Every space dictates our setup. Ceiling heights change the scale, loading zones change our setup time, and venue rules dictate how we secure heavy structures.

• The Scale & Dimensions: What looks perfect in one room might get completely swallowed up in a massive hall or crowd a smaller space. We mathematically scale our designs to fit your specific floor plan. 📐

• The Custom Fabrications: Features like the airplane cutout, the custom “Devyaan is TWO fly” banner, and the unique wavy arch framing aren’t off-the-shelf items. They require custom graphic design, printing, and CNC cutting. 🛠️

• Behind-the-Scenes Labor: A photo doesn’t show the team size, the hours of prep work in our studio, or the tight countdown windows given by venues for setup and late-night breakdown. ⏳
Because we treat your celebration as a custom art piece rather than a cookie-cutter package, our inquiry form is always the absolute first step. 📑

We want to give you a flawless, tailored experience with numbers built for your exact venue, date, and guest count—not a guessed placeholder value.

✨ Skip the DM guessing games! Click the link in our bio to fill out our Inquiry Form, and let’s start bringing your custom design proposal to life.

When a client has a flawless vision and we bring the statement pieces. ✨

For this bespoke outdoor “Howdy Baby” shower, we loved designing and building the custom pink barn architectural backdrop, framing it with a meticulously layered, organic balloon installation.

Our incredibly creative client took the reins from there, beautifully coordinating the gingham picnic tablescapes and fringed market umbrellas to complete this high-end, cohesive experience.

Collaboration like this is what makes milestone celebrations truly unforgettable.

At Char’s Parties, we partner with discerning clients and top-tier vendors across Orange County to turn luxury event concepts into breathtaking realities.

Whether you need full-concept production or custom architectural statements, we ensure your event feels entirely elevated.

Let’s design your next milestone.

Let’s have an honest conversation about AI in event design. 🫣👇

I know the use of AI in creative fields is incredibly controversial. Some people see it as a shortcut. But let me tell you about the reality behind this photo board design: it took over SEVEN hours of back-and-forth prompting, trial, and error using ChatGPT to get it right.

AI didn’t just spit this out in two minutes. The tool is only as good as the designer directing it.

My client had a beautifully unique and hyper-specific vision:
🌊 A kid-friendly, Boardwalk/Beach-inspired photo board.
👗 Featuring girls in conservative clothing.
🐶 A custom illustration of their family dog.
🎀 Reference the backdrop mockups I had designed for aesthetic style and color story cohesion.
📏 Strict, precise dimensions with face-hole heights tailored perfectly for pre-teens to stand behind.

Try telling an AI to calculate proper face-hole height for pre-teens while maintaining an editorial beach aesthetic and a highly specific dress code for the characters! It took hours of human refining, creative problem-solving, and precise direction to make this usable for a real-world event.

AI shouldn’t replace human designers. But as a tool in our toolbox? It allowed me to mock up a hyper-customized, niche concept that would have taken days to manually draft from scratch.

But a digital file doesn’t entertain guests, ex*****on does. Once the client signed off, I handed the design over to the fabricators at Bee’s 🐝 Party Decor 🙌🏼 Together, we had to translate pixels into a real, physical structure. We spent time confirming the exact dimensions, assessing print quality, and choosing the right material options before they precisely printed and CNC-cut the final product.

After fabrication, it came back to our workshop for the final safety touch: building out a sturdy, weighted stand. When you’re designing for a high-energy kids’ party zone, structural integrity is everything!

What are your thoughts on using AI for custom event mockups? Let’s talk in the comments. 💬👇
