Who said back to school is just for the kiddos?!

JOIN US on Saturday, September 5th from 2-4pm at Diversions Tabletop Game Lounge for show n' tell! You'll get 5 minutes to present your item or items to a captive audience then we'll sit in groups and where you can go more in depth! Meet new people and maybe stumble across someone with the same cool niche interest as you.

Please, don't bring anything offensive, it will be weird for me to tell you that you can't show that to us. BUT totally bring cool, fun stuff like your North American moth collection or something your ex gave you that you held onto for spite - the world is really your oyster here!

Reintroducing Bitchin' (romance) book club!

I've had a lot of questions regarding my book club lately and since I don't make any formal posts about it anymore I thought I'd give you the lowdown 💖

We meet roughly once a month, we have a lot of fun and we mostly focus on romance! We meet at fix! Coffee almost always and we have a group chat where we talk casually about all things books. You can find details on our next meeting in the group chat or in my story highlights.

Reading is for everyone and I guarantee that you can find something you enjoy. Physically read or listen to an audiobook it all counts! Reading is vital to life and helps widen our world views, whether you read in a group or alone please make sure you READ! 🩷

Join me for a wellness bingo walk this Saturday 12-2 in collaboration with the Iowa City Downtown District Wellness Fest!!

At 12pm on the DOT! Meet me at the weatherdance fountain, you know the one. Right on the pedmall and makes you feel like a little kid again! And then we'll be off to the faces, I'll help you get a few of these items and then you'll be able to finish the bingo board with your own journey!! 🥰

Please make sure you wear comfy "workout" clothes, use sunscreen if you need it and bring a water bottle! Anyone who may want to attend and may have some physical restrictions please reach out so we can make accommodations as needed! 🩷

I want to give a quick shout out to all my community of the coolest bitchin' besties around!

Thank you to my community, my partners, my supporters and my friends/family who have seen me through this whole Bitchin' events passion project of mine. When I created bitchin' events I had no idea that I would get to be a part of not only my own incredible community but many others in the non-profit space.

I'm incredibly privileged to be able to use my platform and time/energy to have helped raise over 10k in the last year for local non-profits. 💖

Thank you, seriously from the bottom of my heart for being here. Giving back has been a huge source of joy for me and I genuinely couldn't do it without you all sharing, showing up and giving your hard earned money to those in need!

CULTIVATE WHIMSY!

Our whimsy today was swapping handmade items with each other from all different hands! You guys are amazing and it never ceases to shock me when I get to see how an ideas folks usually do with close friends can flourish with the help of my community.

Thank you to everyone who came today and came with such earnestness it could bring a tear to my eye. This is truly what it's all about! 🩷
