Decorating for baby showers at work has been a great way to scratch my creative itch, and to really put Dollar Tree’s party section to work 🥳

So fun to see the different parties and themes I’ve had the honor of decorating over the 3 years I’ve been working here 🥰

10 decisions I loved from our wedding that I would 100% do again.
~From an aspiring wedding coordinator to those in their wedding planning era!

🔹Share a hotel suite with my bridal party the night before the wedding
🔹Making everything I could blue
🔹Doing a dessert table in different shades of blue and white
🔹Doing a mid aisle dip
🔹Having four people in my bridal party. I’m really into even numbers and symmetry, and I wanted to be able to stand out. I also didn’t want a huge wedding party, so 4 was perfect
🔹Having a photo booth that not only printed on the spot, but had a link where guests could view and save photos digitally later
🔹Splurging on over the top florals, and inspiring on blue tablecloths
🔹Doing a send off with ribbons that had bells on them
🔹Having our wedding party do a little dance during their reception entrance

Simple non traditional things that we did at our wedding to remind you that it’s you and your future spouse can do whatever makes you happy 🤍

🔹I had my best friend as my Man of Honor
🔹We did a first look. Even though it’s becoming more common, it can still be controversial to some
🔹We encouraged people to not “pick a side” during the ceremony, as we wanted all of our loved ones to get to know each other. We also mixed people at the reception!
🔹We had a kid free wedding, so we had Flower Grandmas instead of Flower Girls
🔹My family’s dog Murphy was our Ring Bearer

In your wedding planning era, people may push back at your decisions for not being “traditional enough” and try to convince you change your mind. It doesn’t matter if what you want isn’t how things are “typically done” or no one has done it before, if it is what you and your future spouse want for your day, then here is your sign to go for it 🤍
