The menu for October's tasting rooms is the perfect comfort food for the upcoming chilly weather!

The tasting room this week is Thursday, October 8th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tasting rooms are open to the public with no pre purchased tickets required.

The Tasting Room is open this Thursday from 5pm – 8pm!

Orchard-made ciders, harvest inspired cuisine, and a relaxed farm atmosphere await upstairs at Wilson’s Event Venue—hearty, comforting, and perfectly paired. For the remainder of the month, we’re keeping things simple and delicious: instead of a rotating menu, our culinary team has prepared a set menu showcasing the best of the season.

Here’s what’s on the menu:
•Hungarian goulash with braised beef, potatoes, sweet paprika
•Grilled local vegetables with fontina, gruyère, and pecorino cheeses, dijon, elbow macaroni
•Grilled salmon rubbed in coriander, red onion, beet jam, roasted garlic and brie fondue
•Cider-braised pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes, cabbage, green onion
•Chicken saltimbocca with sage, prosciutto, mozzarella, sherry, sweet potatoes ‍

The Tasting Room will be open to the public with no pre-purchase tickets needed!

Due to the amazing turnout from all of you, we have decided to extend our tasting rooms into the month of October! The time will be being moved to 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm starting in October to adjust for the change in the sun setting.

We will also be doing one set menu for the month of October! We will release it the first week of October for everyone to see!

Rapid Creek Cidery

Rapid Creek Cidery is a restaurant and event center located amongst the apple trees in picturesque Wilson’s Orchard, just a few miles North of Iowa City. The restaurant, full bar, and event center offer an extraordinary selection of house-crafted ciders, seasonally driven meals made with ingredients sourced locally.

We accept dinner reservations for groups of any size and brunch reservations for groups of 6 or more only. We try to respond as quickly as possible to reservation requests and have someone answering the phone 45 minutes prior to opening. If you do not hear back from us, please do not assume we can seat you. Please email [email protected] to save your party’s table.

Our event space offers a unique setting for all kinds of large events including weddings, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, non-profit events, and more.
