If you are interested: I am *NOT* a proponent of creating so-called AI images and attempting to pass them off as true/optical/human/original images.

I do, however, believe that there is a place for using AI tools (Such as Generative Fill in Photoshop) when AI can do a much quicker AND better job of fixing a terrible/critical flaw in an image.

The comparison below shows two versions of the same image. While the first image was OK, I felt there was a major flaw that would be noticeable on Social Media platforms.

A previous post showed the AI-enhanced image and asked whether the edit was noticeable.

Simple, sincere question for those who follow my photography:
What is your opinion on using AI tools for overcoming such issues?

This image has been edited using Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill in an attempt to fill in a missing CHUNK on one of the petals.

Genuine/Serious Question:
Can *YOU* identify which one/where (without pixel peaking)?

I was absolutely shocked by how accurate the AI Generative Fill is becoming - with correct prompting, etc. . .

No additional edits applied after fill.

Not trolling and no hints. . . .
