"Let's go, Ladies!"

If you are at Colonial Life Arena on Saturday, you will hear the supporters of the Chapman High School Cheerleading parents and fans screaming this at the top of our lungs! On Saturday, they compete for the 3A State title! We had a bit of fun on Sunday and had a photo shoot to commemorate this amazing team! These ladies are strong, tough and have hearts of gold!

Ladies...you know what I am about to say.....YOU HAVE WORKED SO VICIOUSLY HARD! You have spent hours in the gym and weight room. You have earned this spot! WE ARE BEHIND YOU EVERY STEP, FLIP, JUMP AND STUNT OF THE WAY!

Her name is Abbie and she is graduating this spring! For those that know and love Abbie, I am sure this is a surreal moment! Let's be honest...any time a milestone is reached it does seem surreal! That is why living each day to the fullest is so important!

Abbie-Thank you for meeting me at one of my favorite spots....Campbell's Covered Bridge! You fit perfectly into the peaceful setting and rocked your Senior Session!

Do you see it? Do you hear it?

Confidence is evident! Look around! A smile, holding your head high, walking tall (or struttin' ha!) and a hearty laugh are sure signs of a confident person! When I am around my friend De, I always leave her feeling more confident than I did before our session!

My friend is also very determined! She put in the hours at the gym, the time in the kitchen and it shows! When she showed up to our session in that colorful dress she was BEAMING! And why wouldn't you be? Have you seen her arms!? Have you seen her gorgeous smile? And, to top it off, she decided to shave her head! OF COURSE, we had to do a photo shoot! STUNNING!

De - You amaze me! Truly! As my Daddy says, you have grit! True, honest, rubber-meets-the-road GRIT! I am so very proud of all of your hard work and even more thankful you asked me to photograph this 'new you!' You are FIERCE and FABULOUS!

I saw this online the other day and thought it was cute...

'Hey Mister....take care of my Sister!'

It may be a cute-sy saying but I definitely mean it and I believe Jason will definitely take care of our Allie!

On May 18th my sister married her college sweetheart! And, even though I don't photograph weddings any longer, I was happy to dust off my 'wedding self' and capture their day for them!

I Corinthians 13:13 'And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.'

Definitely DETERMINED!

You can't look at these images in the slide show link below and not think the same thing! You just can't! Thomas is one determined young man and just sit back and watch what he will accomplish! BSHS was blessed to have him and Charleston Southern has no clue what an amazing asset he will be!

Thomas! Congratulations on your graduation from High School! Now go tackle the rest of your life the way you have been determined to tackle it so far!

Beautiful girl....you have learned so much in and outside of the classroom! And you get to take all you have learned to Anderson next year! You are so intelligent, 'street smart' and so ready for this next chapter in your life. I am so stinkin' proud of you!

Life is filled with 'benchmark moments'. You know the ones I am talking about. These are those types of moments we can identify as life 'before' and 'after' this particular time. And one of those moments for my friend Bella is 'the year I turned 16.'

Milestone moments help us appreciate where we've been, where we are now and the excitement of what is to come! Happy Sweet 16, Bella! Watching you mature over the years is such a sweet blessing to me!
