Trigger Warning:

Hello friends! We are looking forward to seeing you Saturday night at 7:30. We do want to let you know a few things. The show was chosen in mid-2024 and we had no idea what was coming. Because it is music by our beloved Jimmy Buffett, this production includes themes of water, tropical storms, volcanoes, and drinking culture. In light of the recent flood that deeply impacted our community, we recognize this content may be difficult for some.
Please take care of your well-being—step out if needed, and return when you’re ready.

The show also features the song “Why Don’t We Get Drunk and...,” well, you know, which contains adult language and themes.

We share this performance as a moment of escape, joy, and resilience.

If you helped us or anyone else clean up, you may consider a tetanus and Hepatitis A vaccine.

Peterson Health and Public Health Region 8 are hosting a vaccine clinic for first responders and community members involved with flood response or who need hepatitis A or tetanus vaccines. Vaccines are free.

WHERE: Two Locations:
Peterson Home Based Services
250 Cully Drive Kerrville, TX
Center Point School Cafeteria
200B Avenue B Center Point, TX

Information about vaccines:

Why Hepatitis A Vaccine?
•Floodwaters can be contaminated with the virus and even tiny amounts are dangerous.
•Hepatitis A can cause weeks of illness (fever, fatigue, turning yellow and stomach pain).
•The vaccine works well and has few side effects.
•The vaccine is for anyone over the age of 19 who has not been vaccinated.

Why Tetanus Vaccine?
•Floods leave behind debris and sharp objects that can be contaminated with tetanus bacteria.
•Tetanus, or lockjaw, can make it hard to swallow and includes muscle spasms, seizures and headaches.
•The vaccine works well and lasts for 10 years.
•The vaccine is for anyone over 10 years of age who has not been vaccinated in more than 5 years.

Many humble thanks to the Wonder Theatre in San Antonio. They "passed the hat" for us on their opening night of "Sister Act" and we so appreciate it. We love our ever-growing theatre family!

We’ve heard from the Hill Country Arts Focus and they seem to be legit.

We fixed the date. We fixed the spelling. Let’s escape together.
Well... let’s just say we got a little too relaxed in Margaritaville.

Yes, we sent out the wrong date.
Yes, we spelled Margaritaville wrong.
Yes, Jimmy Buffett would be shaking his head (probably with a margarita in hand).

But the heart of this event remains the same:
We invite you to join us for A Shared Escape — a one-night performance of Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville on Saturday, July 26 at 7:30 PM at 120 Point Theatre Rd., Ingram

After everything this community has faced, we want to offer a little music, a little laughter, and a chance to be together—no ticket required, just show up and bring a chair.

🎭 Admission is by donation (nothing is required)
🪑 Bring your own chair
🍹 Please, no outside alcohol (TABC rules!) We will have snacks and drinks for sale.

Let’s share a night of island vibes, feel-good songs, and the simple joy of being in the same place at the same time.

Thank you for your grace, your support, and your sense of humor. We’ll see you Saturday—this time for real.

More thanks to Keith Anderson, who is continuing to dispose of debris piles (that we made). He is also going to magnet sweep the parking lot for things that could damage tires. All before our big performance on Saturday!
