Branzino is such a high end fish, in a class of its own

Mine is stuffed with a scallion and okra butter it has a lemon garlic sauce and was topped with seasoned blistered tomatoes on the vine. Then garnished with fresh thyme, rosemary and sweet lemons.🍋

The care and attention to detail it took to execute this dish perfectly really warms my heart. From sourcing it fresh from 4 different stores, to spending hours cleaning and scaling them, to the marinating process then slow roasting them on the grill and stuffing them with a family recipe with love. I love that no matter what, I always bring quality and most importantly an unforgettable flavor profile to the center of all my work.

There’s something about comfort food that speaks straight to the soul. 🍛✨ my sis Shae had been craving chicken and gravy with rice for weeks and I finally joined in on the craving too lol. The gravy hugged the rice just right, the chicken was falling off the bone, and the broccoli came out seasoned to perfection. I shared it with my friend Tia, because we bond through food 🥰 that’s our love language. Every bite reminded me why I cook: to pour love, warmth, and peace into the people I care about. Comfort. Rest. Full of love. 🥘💛

Bowl-ology (B-O-L-O-G-Y) has been one of my hidden gems for the past 2–3 years 🫶🏽🥣. Their acai bowls stay fresh, the granola + honey combo is immaculate, and the staff is always so kind.

I love sitting here with my bowl, soaking up the sun, listening to music, or just letting my thoughts wander. It’s always been a little pocket of peace for me.

I usually keep my faves to myself, but as I step into my food-review era (finally sharing the 300,000 pics sitting in my phone 🤭), it feels right to share this one.

Had to run it back to Destination Smokehouse—hands down one of the best barbecue spots I’ve ever had in California. 🔥

This time I went all in: a platter stacked with ribs, a massive dino rib, baked beans, mac & cheese, candied yams, brisket, smoked turkey, and that unforgettable smoked oxtail. Every bite was smoky, tender, and full of flavor.

Just a quick video for now because I couldn’t wait to share this goodness, but stay tuned—I’ll be doing a full review of everything I tried next. 🍖✨
