Today was one for the books! Dawson & Kayelee Brekke tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church, then we took the celebration over to Hausbarn Heritage Park for an evening full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Kayelee and Dawson — officiating your ceremony and DJ/MC’ing your reception was truly a privilege. Your families, your energy, your love… it all made the night incredible. Thank you for choosing Life’s A Dance DJ to be part of your big day. Congratulations to you both!

What an incredible day celebrating Gage & Micaela Smart! From the moment I met these two, it was clear how perfectly they fit together — their joy, their kindness, and the way they look at each other made this wedding an absolute honor to be part of.

I had the privilege of officiating their ceremony, MC’ing their special moments, DJ’ing their reception, and providing our Photo Booth for their guests — and let me tell you, this group knew how to celebrate! The love in the room was real, the energy was high, and they danced the night away.

Such a beautiful, clean, well‑kept barn venue. Brad and Terri are incredible to work with — kind, organized, and truly invested in making each event special. I genuinely enjoyed working with them.
If you're looking for an affordable barn venue, look no further. They have two cabin rooms for overnight stays, a game room, a kitchen, well‑kept restrooms, and a great bar setup. A must‑see venue.

I’m Cody Ries, the heart behind Life’s A Dance DJ & Events, and I wanted to reintroduce myself to all of you who’ve been part of this journey — and those just joining in.

I’m a child of God, a husband, and a father of five amazing kids. I’m also a Sr. Engineer with Lumen Technologies, an entrepreneur, LifeVantage Consultant, business owner, DJ/MC, wedding officiant, event coordinator, and even a part‑time bus driver for my kids’ school. My life is full, blessed, and fueled by purpose.

🎧 DJing has been one of my greatest passions since I was a teenager.
What started as a spark grew into a calling — a craft I’ve spent years developing so I can bring unforgettable energy, emotion, and excellence to every event I’m trusted with. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate celebration, school dance, or private party, my mission is simple:
