We had a GREAT time at happy hour last night with WeddingWire and the VP of Worldwide Sales for The Knot!

And we had a pretty awesome success story to share…our wedding bookings have MORE than doubled since advertising with WeddingWire & The Knot, which is huge for a little business like ours.

It was so fun to share our experience and celebrate the success with the very people behind the platforms that have helped connect us with so many amazing couples.

Wellllll… when a Sheriff’s Deputy who works a LOT of weddings tells you that, you listen.

Nothing makes us happier than hearing guests rave about the food! That’s exactly why we do what we do. Good food, happy people, and maybe a sauce worth drinking straight from the bowl.

FOOTBALL IS BACK!

We kicked off the fall season tonight with the Martensdale-St. Marys Community School District football team! This is our 3rd year catering their weekly team dinners, and we couldn’t love it more.

Tonight’s lineup: Chicken parmesan, parmesan roasted broccoli & garlic bread. And a little sweet treat from Mama Dix.

The best part? Parents pay one flat fee at the beginning of the season, and we handle dinner every week. No coordinating. No scrambling. No stress. And delivered right to the field.

We offer school discounts and would LOVE to take team dinners off your plate! You handle the game. We’ll handle dinner.

A lot of people throughout the years have asked if I named my business after the Devo song, Whip It Good. My answer is nope. It's a spin off of one of my favorite songs, Push It from the group Salt-n-Pepa. I believe I was listening to them when I was trying to come up with a business name. Last night, I got to see them in concert for the first time ever and it was one of the best I've been to. So much fun!

Maybe the next time you stop up to the kitchen, you will be humming this song as you walk in ❤️
