10 days to go 🤍 and getting to hear love stories like this is one of my favorite parts of what I do 🥹
Lily and Shawn first crossed paths in July of 2022 at a car event, thanks to a mutual friend. At the time, it didn’t feel like anything extraordinary, but sometimes the best stories start quietly:) Not long after, a power outage led to an unexpected dinner invitation, and what seemed like a simple gesture turned into something much more meaningful. When Shawn noticed a broken door in Lily’s apartment, he came back the very next day with tools in hand to fix it. That small act said everything about his heart.
Over time, that same servant-hearted love has continued to shape their relationship in the most beautiful ways. What began during a challenging season in both of their lives has grown into something deeply rooted in faith, intention, and care for one another.
Now, just 10 days away from “I do,” their story comes full circle in such a powerful way! Shawn, a new Catholic, will be receiving communion for the 5th time on their wedding day, a moment that speaks volumes about the journey they’ve walked together.
It’s an honor to witness so many love stories as I get to know my clients and this one genuinely feels purposeful, steady, and truly meant to be. I cannot wait for May 2!! 💍
