The event may be over, but the magic continues!

In a world filled with stress and uncertainty, we have the opportunity to bring just a glimpse of magic into the world—and, more importantly, into someone’s life.

We should all strive to spread love, patience, joy, and a little magic to those around us. This convention, hosted by Brent M Braun, reminded magicians from all over the world why we fell in love with magic in the first place. It gave us the chance to revitalize our passion while reminding us that, at the end of the day, our goal is to create wonder, joy, and laughter for others.

If there is one thing I will take away from this awesome event, it’s this:

Go out into the world and “Be Magic.”

Three years ago, Spark of Magic was just an idea… now we’re getting ready to take over Monument Circle for year THREE!

Pretty proud to have helped bring this crazy little vision to life alongside Big Car Collaborative and Downtown Indy Alliance.

At this point, Spark of Magic is basically my baby… three years old, growing fast, and thankfully, no diapers to change! 😂🎩😂

One of my favorite things about performing is looking out into the audience and seeing people of all ages sharing the same experience.

Kids react with pure amazement. ADULTS TRY TO FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT! And somewhere in the middle, everyone gets caught up in the moment.

Seeing those smiles, laughs, and moments of wonder is a reminder that magic really does have a way of bringing people together.

Music and magic have more in common than most people realize.

Both can stop a room, spark emotions, and create moments that people talk about long after the performance is over.

As much as I love performing magic, there is something special about sitting at a piano and appreciating the power music has to connect people. It reminds me that whether through a melody or a moment of astonishment, the real goal is the same: creating an experience that people will remember.

The good news is that I do not actually know how to play the piano, so the bar is set pretty low. However, if I make a mistake while performing magic, I simply do my best to convince the audience it was part of the act. 🎩✨

🎉 Double Celebration! 🎉

To make the day even more special, it's also my birthday. I'm grateful for the friendships, support, and opportunities this amazing magic community has provided, and I'm excited for what lies ahead.

Christopher was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He first became interested in magic around the age of 19 but didn’t pursue the craft until later, at 32. His first live performance was at the IF Theatre, which was both a great honor and a big hit! Since then, he has delivered countless live performances for both private and corporate clients. He has also appeared on Life Style Live and Indy Now, showcasing his exceptional skills in the art of magic. Heart Month hits differently when your baby is the reason.

Most people know me as the magician who performs miracles both on stage and close-up right before their eyes. But the greatest miracle I’ve ever witnessed is my daughter, Vanessa Rose.

She was born at Riley Hospital for Children with multiple complex heart defects. At just four months old, she had open-heart surgery. More surgeries are ahead, and she will be in palliative cardiac care her whole life.

But if you met her, you wouldn’t see diagnoses.

You’d see a little girl who loves to dance, clap her hands, laugh at her big brother, and chase her dachshund, Oscar. You’d see joy. Pure and simple.

This month, I’m sharing her story to raise awareness for congenital heart defects and to support a major heart-saving device that could one day help kids like Vanessa keep fighting.

Thank you for loving on our family. Hug your babies a little tighter tonight. ❤️
