Set in an 1898 pre-Prohibition brewery bottling house, 24 Shelby is a historic event venue in downtown Indianapolis. Original brick walls, exposed wood beams, oversized factory windows, and warm Edison lighting fill 6,000 square feet that seats 250 (300+ standing), all on a single ADA-accessible floor with an attached patio. 24 Shelby is building our bar staff for the rest of this fall and for the 2027 season. Looking for a few people who know their way around a busy bar and don't get rattled when 150 people hit the line at once.

The work: (90% of our events)
• Mostly Saturdays, some Fridays and Sundays
• 5-hour minimum per event, typically 5–7 hours
• B**r, w**e, and 2 signature cocktails — no craft menu, no muddling, no 12-step builds
• Bar closes at 12am. You're loaded out and gone by 1am (latest). Not the normal 3am job.
Pay: $30–35/hr for bartenders, Paid biweekly. (you rare in the industry you know some weddings can be much, much higher)

What you need:
• 21+
• Current Indiana ATC employee permit (unrestricted) — or an application already submitted
• Some volume experience. Banquet, hotel, or high-turn restaurant bar all count.
• Your own black pants and closed-toe shoes. We provide the shirt.

What we're actually looking for: someone who can cut a guest off politely and hold the line on it. Management backs you every time, no exceptions. That matters more to us than cocktail knowledge.
