The colors are changing. 🌸

September has a way of bringing the best of two seasons together.

There’s still plenty of brightness on the design table, but we're starting to see those warmer shades work their way in. Golden yellow. Orange. Deep pink. A little purple. Rich greenery.

Not quite fall. Not quite summer.

Just September at the flower shop, and we're loving where the season is headed.

We honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the courage shown in the days that followed, and the families and communities who carry those memories still.

This week’s favorite. 🌻

We asked Mike what he liked about this one.

“I love the mix of sunny yellows and crisp whites. It just feels happy.”

And really, that’s sometimes all an arrangement needs to do.

The bright sunflowers bring the energy, the softer whites give everything a little breathing room, and all that greenery pulls it together.

In the hands of a florist. 🌸

There’s a point when a collection of flowers starts becoming something more.

A stem moves here. A little color is added there. The arrangement gets turned, looked at again, adjusted, and sometimes adjusted once more.

Some of it is balance. Some is color and texture. And a lot of it is simply knowing what feels right after years of working with flowers.

That part is hard to put into instructions.

It’s the florist’s touch. And it happens right here at the Eagledale design table.

September has a palette. 🌸 And right now, it’s a good one.

Golden yellow, coral, deep pink, lavender, blue and all those rich colors that seem to belong somewhere between the last days of summer and the beginning of fall.

Fresh flowers are back on the design table after the long weekend, and we can’t wait to see what our designers create with them.

September, you’re off to a beautiful start. 💐

Since 1958, flowers have been leaving this little Indianapolis flower shop for all kinds of moments.

Birthdays. Anniversaries. New babies. Hard days. Happy days. Goodbyes. Thank-yous. And plenty of ordinary Tuesdays that simply needed something beautiful.

A lot has changed since Eagledale Florist first opened its doors, but something important hasn’t.

Our flowers are still designed right here, by people who care about the people receiving them.

We’re proud to be part of this community and grateful that Indianapolis continues to invite us into the moments that matter.

No occasion required. 🌸

Some flowers celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Some say thank you, thinking of you, or I’m here when you need me.

And sometimes?

They’re simply there because a kitchen table needed a little color. Because a friend could use something beautiful. Because you walked past a bouquet and knew exactly where you wanted to put it.

We think those are pretty good reasons, too.

You don’t always need an occasion for flowers.

Sometimes flowers are the reason. 💐

A new week in bloom. 🌸

There’s something we love about seeing fresh flowers gathered around the design table before they become anything at all.

Right now, they’re simply beautiful stems, bright color and plenty of possibilities. Soon, our designers will begin choosing what belongs together and creating something completely new.

That’s part of the fun around here. You never quite know what the flowers will inspire.

Here’s to a colorful start to the week from the Eagledale design table. 💐
