IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Ahhhh here we go…🙈 (I’ve been putting off this post for awhile)

Alexa Jo Wedding Coordination is closing their doors for business. We have a few weddings already in contract for 2022 that we are excited to still coordinate and finish strong but we have made the hard (but best) decision to not book anymore weddings past that.

I will always have a special place in my heart for the wedding industry but have to remember that it’s best for me and for my family to say goodbye to this business. After starting my real estate career last year and growing our family I have been feeling so spread thin. With that being said, after months of thinking, many conversations, and lots of prayer I felt like it was time to give this business up.

Lastly, I’ll conclude with this- THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me, referred me, and encouraged me along the way. Thank you to all my AMAZING CLIENTS- every couple that I’ve worked with will always hold a special place in my heart. I truly mean that!🥰

Wedding Planner vs. Wedding Coordinator?

Lots of people think those are one in the same but they are actually two different jobs.

Simply put- a wedding planner helps you plan all the things for your wedding. A wedding coordinator helps you implement those plans when I comes time for the wedding!

How to decide if you need a planner vs a coordinator-

Are you not good with details, timelines, direction, get overwhelmed easily? Then you probably need some planning help!

Are you organized, detailed, and good at planning things? Great! Then get a coordinator to help on the wedding day so that you and all the people you love don’t have to worry about any of the logistics. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This past weekend Audrey & Alan said “I do” in a beautiful garden in front of all the people they love most. I love the story of how God brought them together. After moving to California, these two met on a dating site where they sparked interest in each other after realizing they have a lot in common. They’re both from Indiana, both Christians, and have a lot of the same interests. Their love for one another is so evident and beautiful to witness. So thankful to be apart of their special day. As always, it was a pleasure coordinating✨

Being on maternity leave has reminded me to slow down and live in the moment. As a wedding coordinator I’m always encouraging my couples to soak in every moment of their day. Sometimes it’s hard for me to take my own advice. So here’s to a slow Saturday night soaking in some snuggles with my baby and my hubs☁️

Behind the scenes on wedding day this past weekend was amazing to witness!🤩 If you aren’t hiring trusted professionals it can get chaotic BUT if you do hire industry pros who are experienced and good at what they do the day can be SO👏🏼 FUN👏🏼 and relaxing🥂🍾 it makes my heart so happy to see my clients on cloud9 on their wedding day!
