The Imperfect Storm
Freemasons’ stolen secrets, the 19th century’s most infamous cold case, and the modern-day key to unlocking the mysteries of the baffling crime known as the Morgan Affair. In one sense, the story of William Morgan is simple and straightforward. In 1826, in Batavia New York, word got around Morgan was going to reveal the secrets of the Freemasons in a book he was writing. Some Masons took offense and kidnapped Morgan. After that, no one knows what happened to him.
In another sense, Morgan’s saga is a complex episode that divided the United States, changed American history, dominated the 19th century, and nearly caused the demise of Freemasonry.
This book examines never before published information about the Morgan Affair and takes a twenty-first century scientific approach to examine the nineteenth century’s most infamous cold case.
