Long post ahead! I promised big news, and now that some loose ends have been tied up, it’s time to fill you in! If you’ve worked with me (and maybe even if you haven’t) you know I started wedding planning after my own wedding in August 2020 and since then I’ve had the pleasure of working with some awesome couples. It’s been hard to juggle running my little business because I’ve worked full time in retail since my days at BSU. My husband and I welcomed our son in May and I took the summer off from both my full time job at AE and from wedding planning, with the exception of one of my closest friend’s weddings (until this weekend when weddings start full swing again!) and I’ve decided I won’t be returning to my full time position at AE. While this was a difficult decision because I truly have loved my job, it gives me the flexibility to spend more time with my son and focus more on my business and meeting with clients. I’m excited to step into wedding planning full time and take on this new adventure! That being said, I’m offering a discount to celebrate! Any 2023 weddings booked during the month of October will receive a 20% discount off of my Full Service Package and 15% off of my Day of Coordination Package! Message me for more info! It’s been a week since Bailey and Kam’s wedding and I haven’t stopped thinking about it (I mean, how could I? Long time, no post. Today I’m starting my 2022 wedding season on double duty - bridesmaid meets wedding planner - for one of my dearest friends. I cannot wait to share more of Kamryn and Bailey’s best day ever (and the rest of this season) with you!

Long time, no post (I’m sorry!)

Hi, friends. I’ve been MIA for a while because I’ve been trying to decide where my next wedding season is headed. In September (the DAY after I was on my feet all day and lifting heavy tables and jumping off ladders at a wedding 🙃) my husband and I found out we’re expecting a little boy in May! That being said, I’ve been unsure of what this means for my 2022 wedding season and what I’m going to be capable of while preparing for and adjusting to life with a tiny person. I have gotten a lot of inquiries about my availability in the last couple of weeks and have decided I will be taking the months of May and June off and I will be beginning my wedding season in July. My first available 2022 date will be July 2nd and I will continue scheduling weddings every weekend after that. I have decided to keep my pricing the same as my 2021 season due to my lack of availability and the amount of couples I’ve had to turn away (a lot of you are getting married in the early summer!) If you or someone you know is looking to book a wedding planner or day of coordinator for a July, August, September, or October wedding message me ASAP! Even though I’ll be taking the spring and early summer off from weddings I will still be booking consultations and meetings during that time. I appreciate you all being patient with me while I’ve been trying to decide what the best plan will be for my family. I look forward to getting a few weddings on my calendar and meeting with you soon! 💗

What does your wedding day look like with me? I’m on standby all day to do exactly what you need from me at all times! I usually start my morning by decorating any outdoor ceremony spaces (we don’t want to set those up the night before!), finishing any details in any indoor reception areas, ensuring all of your vendors arrive on time and have everything set up that they need, and making sure brides and grooms are detailed to perfection and feeling good all day!

Taylor and Owen tied the knot last month and I’m honored they asked me to help them plan their big day! A Sunday afternoon wedding meant we only had a few hours before the ceremony to decorate, but we pulled it off! Thank you for letting me be part of your day, Mr. and Mrs. Deweese!

I had my first wedding today! I’m very thankful for Amanda and Patrick giving me the opportunity to fully plan my first wedding! They were an awesome couple to work with from beginning to end. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Vandiver! ✨
