Same venue. Same photographer. Two unique styles.

One of our favorite things about custom design is seeing how the same space can come to life in so many different ways.

Both of these weddings took place at The Sixpence | Midwest Wedding Venue and were even captured by the same talented photographer, Danielle Harris!

Each couple brought their own vision, personality, and style to the space, and we loved being a part of both stunning events.

As a preferred florist at The Sixpence, we loved being getting to see the beautiful space dressed up in many ways!

An $8,000 wedding floral budget works when you know where to invest it.

The secret? Prioritizing.

You don’t need flowers everywhere to make a big impact.

We’d much rather see our clients invest in one or two unforgettable floral moments than spread the budget thin trying to check every box.

That might mean skipping a few traditions, simplifying certain arrangements, or choosing a ceremony design that can have a second life at your reception.

And sometimes, it’s as simple as trusting your florist to recommend flowers that give you the look you love without the unnecessary expense.

Our job isn’t just to create beautiful wedding flowers. It’s to help you make the most of your budget while bringing your vision to life.

Swipe through to see how I’d prioritize an $8,000 wedding floral budget (and what I’d skip).

Your dream wedding color palette might be trending, but your wedding should be anything but copy and paste.

Burgundy and olive is one of our favorite color combinations right now, and for good reason.

But here’s the thing: a beautiful color palette and Pinterest inspo pics are just the starting point.

Great wedding florals aren’t about copying another florist’s recipe or recreating a Pinterest photo flower for flower.

For this wedding at the Columbus Museum of Art, we took inspiration from the modern style but made it unique to this event. How? We incorporated warmer rose tones into the floral arrangements to complement the existing warm/earthy curtains in the space.

It was a small, intentional shift that made the entire design feel cohesive and intentional. It also make it completely unique to the clients wedding.

We pride ourselves in taking the inspiration you love and making it feel unique to you.

Your wedding only happens once. It deserves to be as unique as your love story.

Fall wedding decor doesn’t have to mean pumpkins and bright orange flowers.

Sometimes, the most beautiful fall wedding designs take inspiration straight from nature.

For this wedding ceremony at Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection in Carmel, we wanted to embrace the season without sacrificing the elegance this venue evokes.

A lush ceremony installation can make a bigger impact than spreading smaller arrangements throughout the space.

Bonus points if those flowers can be repurposed for your reception! This arch was repurposed along the head table, and the aisle markers found placed at the bar and dance floor.

What does a $15,000 floral budget look like? Here’s a sample estimate for a wedding for 150 guests.

This estimate prioritizes the ceremony and reception, skips cocktail-hour flowers, and gives the ceremony arrangements a second moment.

The arch becomes a backdrop for the sweetheart table, while aisle flowers get repurposed along the front of the band stage and around the sweetheart table.

Half the guest tables feature larger centerpieces, while the other half have trios of bud vases. This mix leaves enough room in the budget for the big statement ceremony pieces.

Our job is to help you create your dream wedding without breaking the bank. Together, we’ll figure out where to go big, what to simplify, and which designs can do double duty within your budget.

At Duet, our full service minimum starts at $6,000. On average, most clients spend $10-25k for events around 150-200 guests.

Save this for planning, or inquire through the link in our bio to start your own floral plan.
