Okay, we do. But you shouldn’t, and that’s what we’re here for! Wedding planning and your big day shouldn’t have you stressed to the max. We highly recommend looking into hiring a wedding coordinator to make sure you can actually enjoy the events of your wedding day. You’ve planned it to perfection, now you should be able to bask in all that you’ve accomplished! Let someone else worry for a change!

Working on your wedding timeline? Here are a few things that it needs to be successful:

❤️ Buffer Time: Build in a few extra minutes here and there throughout your timeline in case activities go over their originally allotted time.
❤️Prep time for your vendors: Confirm with your vendors how long they need to get set up and therefore what time they need to arrive to make sure everything is ready on time.
❤️ Flexibility: After the ceremony gets started, everything can usually be fluid and flexible! If you feel the day is dragging, move things up! If you think things are moving too fast, move stuff back to give you some time to breathe between big events in the day.

Coordinators are a good resource to help with timelines, but even without one, there are still plenty of ways to make sure you have a well-thought out timeline that will lead to a beautiful (and beautifully-timed) day!

So what does a wedding coordinator even do??

People often ask what a day-of coordinator is actually doing while things are going on and the couple is getting ready. Here’s a real look behind the scenes:

⭐️ Confirming all the vendors have arrived and get to the right spot
⭐️ Doing a final walkthrough of the ceremony and reception spaces
⭐️ Making sure the wedding party knows exactly where to be and when
⭐️ Handling the little things and questions that pop up so the couple never has to

The best compliment I could get is a couple saying, “We didn’t have to worry about anything!”
