Our unique, affordable wedding venue gives you and your guests access to a surplus of high-end restaurants, Bed & Breakfast, hotels, and other amenities. We know first-hand the stress that comes with planning a ceremony, which is why we are dedicated to making this process as stress-free as possible. The Edison Wedding Chapel is a beautiful, intimate space that seats up to 60 guests comfortably for your ceremony. And up to 40 guests for a reception or party. This unique space has been revived, leaving the original 1870's 17ft tin ceiling and original � oak floors. Chiavari chairs, compliment our space with an abundance of Steampunk, antique, and gives the space an historic industrial look and feel. The Edison Wedding and Event Space closed it's doors on 5.31.23. We had a great run Pastor Nancy. So many wonderful couples were married here at the Edison. We will never forget any of you. Don't worry, Pastor Nancy and Pastor Jane aren't going anywhere. We still have KC Weddings 2 Go in Independence and in Overland Park. We will marry you anywhere.

Nancy Kerr the Proprietor has been in the Wedding industry for over 35 years as a professional wedding photographer and wedding officiant and knows exactly what 21st Century Couples and individuals are looking for. “Couples are now wanting unique, smaller more intimate settings with budgets that don’t break the bank! When I started this project I went back through literally thousands of notes that I had taken over the years. So here it is, unique, affordable, cozy and fun! Pricing will vary depending on day of the week and how long you want the venue. We will provide the venue, officiant, professional photography, videography, tables and wood Chiavari chairs.
