Going back to Fall of 2019 for a very beautiful wedding at Paradise Park (Visit Paradise Park). Fall is the busiest time for weddings. Know Rev. Annika still has availability for most of October and November.

It’s throwback Thursday but we are taking you to the past and present. Rev. Annika loves officiating ceremonies in Independence, MO area where she lives, especially when it is a quaint winery. The winery has new owners and a fresh look. Looking forward to working with Ray, Randy and their team at Hallow Crossing!

So grateful how this ceremony all came together in a little over a week. Military couple who recently moved to Missouri was going to have quick “sign and go” ceremony. After talking to Rev. Annika, they got clear they wanted a Christian ceremony in a more intimate setting than a coffee shop. With the very gracious support of Zoe, Randy, and Ray at the winery, they created a beautiful space for Charles & Taylor during their grand opening and made them feel so special. I am also thankful to my dear friend Jeannie who stepped in as a reader and witness.

Don’t usually post just a photo of me when it comes to weddings, but this came up in my personal memories on fb today. It shows that I take the time to discuss with my couple what they want me to wear as their officiant. I do my best to match their bridal colors or theme for their big day.

So excited to welcome Curtis & Kristen to our Heart and Soul Weddings family! They will be getting married in the Fall at this amazing new venue! We are currently preparing their ceremony which will include a unity tree ritual.

In the Summer of 2014, Rev. Annika performed her first wedding ceremony in the Kansas City area, which came about when the bride and groom asked her to step in after their chosen officiant had a change of heart. While having a family member or friend officiate can be a lovely gesture, lack of preparation and confidence is a valid reason to consider hiring a professional officiant.
