In the Summer of 2014, Rev. Annika performed her first wedding ceremony in the Kansas City area, which came about when the bride and groom asked her to step in after their chosen officiant had a change of heart. While having a family member or friend officiate can be a lovely gesture, lack of preparation and confidence is a valid reason to consider hiring a professional officiant.
