We say boo today, as we welcome Madeline & Dylan to our Heart and Soul Weddings family. If you haven’t guessed they are getting married on Halloween. Their ceremony will include traditional elements along with a handfasting. Their reception though will be a costume party that includes trick or treating!

Our Friday Feature for Weddings this week is The Vintage House. A sweet intimate wedding venue on the Kansas side in downtown Overland Park. Lauri, the owner is wonderful to work with and her attention to function and elegance in all that she provides with a rental is phenomenal. An October wedding from 9 years ago. The most popular time of year to get married in the U.S. is October. This year we have 5 couples getting married in the upcoming Autumn season. Still have weekend dates available for this month and in November.

This week’s Friday Feature: All Set Events. Rev. Annika had the privilege of working with Eden & Sky at one her Spring weddings she officiated. If you are changing your last name when you get married, one of the first things you need to do is get a new Social Security card. You will need to have a certified copy of your wedding license to do this. Rev. Annika always provides her couples with the necessary info they need to make their wedding paperwork legal.

Change your name on your Social Security record after you legally change it.
