We're expecting a big, enthusiastic crowd for our first concert this Friday, and we couldn't be more excited! To ensure everyone has a great time, let's all be neighborly and give each other plenty of seating space.

We encourage you to set up your chairs stadium-style, with taller chairs in the back and shorter ones in the front. This way, everyone can enjoy the show without any obstructions.

We can't wait to see you all there! Let's make it a fantastic night!

🎬 Roll out the red carpet—Movies in the Park are back! And we’re kicking things off with a fire pick: Disney & Pixar’s Elemental!

We made a quick plot twist: our original movie ran a little long, so we’ve updated the lineup to keep the evening fun for all ages. Elemental brings heart, laughs, and a story the whole family will love.

Independence Days wristbands Go On Sale Monday, June 2, 2025!

Independence Days is just around the corner, and this year’s celebration is packed with upbeat live entertainment, vibrant vendors, and wholesome family activities. From the the rubber ducky derby on the Willamette River, to the fireworks and live entertainment and everything in between—there’s something for everyone.

Wristbands are your all-access pass to the fun on July 3 and 4, and a wristband is required for each individual day you plan to attend. They’re $10 each, but residents of Independence and Monmouth can get them for just $5 from June 2 to 27. Discounted wristbands are available at the Independence Civic Center and Polk County Fire District No.1. Just bring proof of residence like an ID, utility bill, or a piece of mail. The $5 price is limited to six wristbands per family. You can also purchase wristbands at the Independence Public Library (OR) and the The Monmouth Independence Family YMCA.

Avoid the lines and grab your wristbands early!

Music, movies, and summer nights on the river — the River’s Edge Summer Series is back!

Join us at Riverview Park in Independence, Oregon, for a summer packed with high-energy tribute concerts and the return of not one but TWO free Movies in the Park.

Friday Night Concerts
From July 11 to August 15, enjoy some of the best tribute bands around — from Journey to AC/DC. Opening bands start at 6 PM. Headliners take the stage at 8 PM

Just $5 at the gate (kids 10 and under are free)

Grab a bite from local food trucks, enjoy the all-ages beer garden, and dance the night away by the river.

We’re bringing back this community favorite with two movie nights under the stars:

June 27: Wicked (2024)

August 29: Wonka (2023)

This Friday, August 16, 2024, La Super Sonora Dinamita will light up Riverview Park in Independence, Oregon with their infectious cumbia rhythms, all as part of our annual Community Fiesta!

Conjunto Alegre kicks off the evening at 6 PM, filling the air with vibrant tunes, followed by the legendary La Super Sonora Dinamita at 8 PM, keeping the cumbia beats rolling all night long.

Join us for a night of rhythm and celebration—it’s free, but donations are always welcome! ¡Vamos a bailar toda la noche!
