And let me tell you, he did not disappoint!!

Watching these two and their people absolutely lose it when he walked onto the dance floor was one of the most fun surprises we've had at the farm.

A lot of what we do for our couples never makes it into the wedding photos 🤍

This week, while our bride is finishing the last few things on her list, our team is already getting to work:

Washing every ceremony chair
Batching 150 iced lattes
Manicuring the lawn
Ordering ice
Checking the cottage
Walking the property one more time

None of those things will make it into her gallery.

But they're part of what allows her to pull onto the farm, see her people, take a deep breath, and simply be here 😌

And honestly, that's our favorite part...not just preparing a beautiful place, but preparing it for the people who are coming to fill it.

To everyone who has celebrated here, sent a friend our way, supported our family, or cheered us on over the years: THANK YOU 🫶🏼

We're grateful to steward this place and keep opening its doors to people who have something worth gathering for!

There's more than corn in Indiana 🌸🤍

Tucked away in our little no-stoplight town of Idaville is a farm that's been in our family for four generations.

Somewhere along the way, we realized this place has never really been about the buildings or the gardens. It's always been about the people who gather here.

The way guests wander the property with a drink in hand. Friends introducing their spouses to one another for the first time. Parents looking around the lawn, taking in the rare gift of having everyone they love together. The kind of evenings where people keep finding one more reason to stay a little longer.

That's the experience we hope every couple, every family, and every guest finds here.

We happen to believe life is sweetest when your favorite people are all in one place 🤍

Beautiful details should have a purpose 👇🏼

This cocktail wasn't simply chosen because strawberries were in season, even though they were 🍓☺️ It was chosen because it could be prepared ahead of time and waiting for guests as they arrived.

Less time in line =

more time catching up with old friends, introducing families and enjoying the countryside.

We think that's what thoughtful hosting looks like!

The drinks help…but what we’re really creating has very little to do with what’s in the glass 🍷

It’s the college friends finally meeting the childhood best friend.

It’s grandparents sharing stories with the coworkers who became family.

It’s old memories becoming new ones around the same table.

Because the best wedding days aren’t just beautiful…
they’re the ones where your people feel so at home, they don’t want to leave 🤍

One of the greatest gifts of this work is getting to know the people behind the wedding day

People like Abbey and Levi 🤍

Over the months leading up to their wedding, I watched Abbey do what seems to come so naturally to her: care deeply for the people around her 🩷🩷

Whether encouraging someone through a difficult season, celebrating the talents of her friends, or planning a surprise Purdue Pete appearance just for Levi, she has a way of making the people around her feel known.

By the time their wedding weekend arrived, it felt like SO much more than a celebration of two people.

It felt like a reflection of the lives they’ve built, the friendships they’ve nurtured, and the love they’ve given so freely.

And as I watched hugs exchanged on the dance floor, flower girls twirl, and loved ones gather together, I couldn’t help but think:

What a gift it is to be surrounded by the people who know you best!

Beautiful views. Better company 🙌🏼

There comes a moment at nearly every wedding when it hits you...

Not during planning. Not when the flowers arrive. Not even when the ceremony begins

its usually later.

Maybe during cocktail hour or maybe from accross the reception room:

You look around and realize that the people who shaped your life, the ones who raised you, encouraged you, stood beside you and helped make you who you are, are all in the same place.

And somehow, for a brief moment, life slows down enough for you to take it all in

We think that's one of the greatest gifts of a wedding day ❤️❤️

One of my favorite moments from this weekend had nothing to do with the tea party...

At some point, the birthday girl's grandma lined up a row of chairs, called it a bus, and spent the evening entertaining a group of little ones.

The party was beautiful.

But watching three generations enjoy one another in the same space felt even more special 🥹🎀✨️

Moments like that are a good reminder that the best gatherings aren't built around a tablescape.

They're built around the people gathered around it.

We absolutely adore Walk Your Doggo 🤍✨️

We're so grateful Sioux-Monti can be a place where the whole family is welcome!!

We had the sweetest job last weekend ♥️ Lucy was the guest of honor at her family's wedding, and we were there to make sure she got to enjoy every moment of it.

As a wedding pet attendant, we handle all the dog logistics so the couple doesn't have to think about a thing. That means keeping her calm while the bridal party is getting ready, wrangling her for portraits, making sure she gets outside when she needs a break. All of it.

Lucy was a rockstar. 🐾

If your dog is going to be part of your big day, we'd love to be there with you.
