One of my favorite creations using the mandalino wings.
It with a sad heart that I announce that I have to close The Studio. I still think it's a fabulous idea but health reasons are not letting me continue to accomplish what I set out to do. We don't know what is going on....I only know I can't keep working.
So...if you or someone you know would like to take over a very well set up florist, let me know. I will be here next week...call 845-444-9111 if you are interested.

September 23....I will be designing with Neville MacKay at Hillcrest Gardens in New Jersey for a fall and Christmas show. Neville is a fabulous designer from Canada who is not only talented but very funny. This will be the 3rd show I have done with Neville and am really looking forward to it.

Hi everyone
This is the arrangement for next weeks class. It's called "Hedge" and is fun to make. Call the shop (845-444-9111) to make reservations. Also...check out our weekly Thursday and Friday Happy Flower Hour ....2:00 to 5:00 when all cut flowers are $1.00 per stem.

Getting ready for the next class and working on Septembers. I think I will create a "hedge" arrangement.
Also...the Dutchess County Fair is almost here and I will be creating several Meadows and Marshes for my interpretation of Backyard Paradise. Hope you come see and cheer Barbara Jones and I on as we commentate the design shows.

I just booked my first "real" wedding for the Studio. It's going to be in Sept. and the bride is getting married on her families farm. She wants to do her own flowers...has a tight budget but doesn't know how. This place is perfect for her. She will be coming in 3 days before and use our Studio space along with my help to do the work. We will hold them in our cooler and she will pick them up the morning of the wedding. I told her she can come earlier in the week since the flowers will hold up just fine.
