Just wanted to share this poem, as I think it speaks loudly about how great our God is!

Untamed and so wild,
Mere weeds just to most.
A bouquet of such splendor
That country ditches boast.

Persevering through drought
And all covered in dust.
These backroad blooms remind us
It’s in God that we must trust.

Relying on no one
But our God up above
They reach for the sun
Passed by and unloved.

Their beauty is subtle
One has to look close.
They try to peek through
From the unkept overgrowth.

Leaves tatted like lace
A perfect fit for a queen.
Stalks of sticky milkweed
Butterflies fluttering in between.

The purple crown of thistle
A spiteful ‘lil flirt
Waltzing with the sunflower
At a screaming cicada concert.

And if you pay attention
To their dances in the breeze
The ditches…the proclaim
That God made even these!

It has been brought to our attention that the registration did not include this month. This has been fixed, and if you are a mom with an adult adoptive child, we would love to have you. We will meet Thursday, August 14th at 6:30om for dinner and community building. Don't be scared to bring your laughter and your tears. The evening is free of charge and we look forward to seeing you!

We believe in Mental Health Education. Learning about mental health is a great way to assist someone you love who is battling. Our classes are taught by professionals in the mental health field.
