A little behind-the-scenes update from my new adventure as a photography teacher!
We’ve been learning about composition, and one of the things we’re practicing is the rule of thirds.
The basic idea: instead of always putting your subject right in the middle of the frame, try placing them along one of the grid lines or at an intersection.
It’s a simple change that can make your photos feel more intentional.
And honestly… one of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to watch students start seeing photography differently.
What photography concept do you want to learn about next?
