🧙‍♀️🖤 Sandusky, you really are something special! ✨

The Sandusky Witches Walk 2026 is so much more than witches, costumes, and a little Hocus Pocus. It’s about community, connection, and bringing thousands of people together to celebrate everything that makes our downtown so special.

The energy, the creativity, the laughter, the packed streets, and the support for our local businesses — THIS is what it’s all about! 🧡

To every volunteer, sponsor, vendor, downtown business, organizer, and participant who helped make the 15th Anniversary Sandusky Witches Walk possible — THANK YOU!

Events like this don’t just happen. They’re built by people who love their community and believe in what it can become.

Here’s to the magic of Sandusky and the people who make it happen! 🧹✨

This is the kind of busy I LOVE. 💙

The next few months are packed with some incredible projects, and Great Lakes Event Works is right in the middle of making them happen.

Different events. Different goals. A whole lot of logistics, vendors, sponsorships, production, promotion and behind-the-scenes work — exactly where I like to be.

There’s something pretty damn cool about watching all the pieces come together and knowing you had a hand in creating memories that people will remember.

October through December is looking GOOD. Let’s get to work. 💙

Sometimes “event logistics” looks like spreadsheets, schedules and phone calls…

And sometimes it looks like spending time at the cutest little farm (DeChant Farms) picking out pumpkins with Maddie & Todd. 🎃😂

Stocking up for some fall fun and supporting a local farm while we’re at it. Not a bad day at the office for Great Lakes Event Works. 🧡

Now the real question is… how many pumpkins is too many pumpkins? Asking for someone who definitely bought more than planned. 😏

T-1 day, y’all. We’re getting hitched. 💍😂

And while I am absolutely NOT a wedding planner, planning your own wedding is a pretty solid reminder that the principles of good event management are the same:

Details matter.
Communication matters.
Organization matters.
Plans change.
And somebody has to keep the chaos moving in the right direction. 😂

Tomorrow, I get to marry my favorite person.

Then it’s back to doing what I actually do — helping organizations, committees, and event teams get the behind-the-scenes work organized so they can focus on making their event happen.

Apparently, I really do practice what I preach. 😉

Well… Facebook apparently decided to **delete my whole damn personal account.** 🤦‍♀️😂

So if you were friends with **Nicky Bee** and suddenly I disappeared — **I did NOT delete you, block you, get mad at you, or enter witness protection.** Facebook just nuked the account.

I’ve started a new ** Nicky Bee ** page, so please go **send me a friend request and reconnect with me.**

And if you sent me a personal message recently and I never responded, there’s a pretty solid chance I never saw it.

Help me rebuild my Facebook world because starting from scratch is for the birds. 😂🖤
