Great project here; 1957 wooden boat bow conversion. We found this bow section already separated from its hull. It was the right size and shape for a great tiki bar. The teak deck was in nice shape and the bow overhang/flare was perfect for bar stools. It was a bit high overall, so we needed to remove about 18 inches from the forefoot, after that, we added some fabricated metal struts for support and added shelves on port and starboard inside the hull. We left the exterior of the hull in a rustic condition to reflect its storied past. The result is a tiki bar that can comfortably seat about 14 people with one or two bartenders working out of the center hatch area.  she is now docked at her final destination with a front row seat on the St. Lawrence Seaway.

It was a pleasure to work with Bayou City Angler to make this transom bar with matching sportfish bulkhead with fashion boards and LED lighting. The aft facing tinted windows discreetly conceal a large flatscreen tv.

the transom bar portion is 14 feet in beam with mahogany covering boards and teak and holly workspace and a “Atmospheric Blue” hull.
