The Paper Petals Co. is a handcrafted paper florist studio located in Huntsville, Alabama. From paper to petals.

Our craft is in creating unique bouquets for special occasions, gifts, and home decor. Beyond creating, we also teach others how to make their own paper flowers. Each flower starts with a roll of paper and is crafted into a blooming flower – with each petal being shaped, painted, and assembled by hand. Studying from the anatomy of natural flowers, we utilize quality European crepe paper to recreate the blooms of nature; ones that will never wilt and contain no allergens.

Hi guys, it's me Thao and I'm the creative behind The Paper Petals Co 👐. I want to share a little bit about me and my business today for those who had been following us on our page.

I always love arts and crafts, especially paper flower making🌻🌼. Started out as a hobby, I decided to turned it into a business during my college years. Over the years, this business really had grown way more than I've ever expected. Starting out from my small bedroom at my parents home to growing it to a 2000sqft studio, it was exciting and a wonderful experience.

Last year, many of you were wondering about my decision why I close down my studio after 3 years working there‼️For those who are new to the page, I used to have a beautiful space located out of Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment]] which I met so many of you and people all over. Last May, I decided to closed down my studio Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment]] which were bittersweet but felt it was necessary for my creative soul 🌸

Over the years, we've grown a lot and focused a lot on the business side of things that I felt I was losing out on the creating art as a passion side. I struggled a lot on this. That's why I made the hard decision to close down my physical location to focus on myself as an artist as well as restoring the balance in my life. I am grateful for my time Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment]] and the wonderful community there. I've met so many people and so grateful for the friendships I made a long the way. I especially want to thank my wonderful partner Anthony for always being there for me ❤️

As for the business, now I am focusing mostly on our online shop and sharing my work through there and on social media. I also am starting to host pop up classes around the Huntsville area again. Which thank you for those who are joining my upcoming classes, after almost a year not teaching I thought it would be a slow start, but I was on the verge of tears seeing many familiar faces still interested and bought tickets on my upcoming classes (now the classes are sold out, which I plan to host more soon).

I am super grateful & I am excited to share more beautiful flowers with you guys and thank you for following along on this journey with me!!! 💕😍

Hey guys, a lot of you have asked about upcoming paper flower making class so here's one of them!! Coming up in about 2 weeks. Super excited to partner up with to host this class with you guys 🥳

This one is for anybody from age 10 to 100 to join 😆 You will be making a peony, bud, and leaves in a 2 hours time. You don't have to be crafty or know how to make paper flowers before to join, I will be walking you through step by step instructions on how to make them. So grab your ticket, your crafty self, and some friends and come make them with me. 💐🎍
