Ever wonder what tools help keep a stationery business running day to day? Here are a few of my favorites! 🏅
1. Quickbooks Online: I use this for billing, tracking customer invoices and payments, and overdue bills. I could not run my business without it! It’s simple enough for a non-numbers person to use, but also robust enough for my accountant to get everything she needs.
2. Apple Calendar: I would not accomplish anything without my calendar! I could do a whole post on just calendar-ing, but that’s for another day. I use it to schedule everything from work blocks, workouts to when I need to shower and get ready! Recently, I’ve tied to our new calendar so my family can also stay in the loop.
3. Adobe Illustrator: This is my favorite Adobe program, and the one I use the most! I still use InDesign and Photoshop, but Illustrator is THE program you need to learn if you want to get into stationery design, in my opinion!
4. Dubsado: This is how I keep my clients on track and send them contracts. I check it once a week to see who I need to catch-up with or see what money might be coming in in the next week.
Running a business takes a village—and the right tools! What’s in your toolkit? 🤗
