I don’t think I’ll ever stop being grateful for the things this little business gets to put me in the middle of. ❤️🤍💙

This setup was for the Sam Houston State LEAP Center as they celebrated individuals who had worked so hard toward becoming United States citizens.

I went in thinking about balloons, draping, details, and making sure everything looked right…

…but standing there looking at it all come together, I found myself thinking about the people who would be standing in front of it and what this moment meant for them.

A new chapter.
A lot of hard work.
A dream finally becoming real. 🇺🇸

And I just got to make the backdrop. 🥹

That’s one of my favorite things about what I do. I get to create something beautiful, but I also get little glimpses into the stories and moments that make these events matter.

I started this business because I’ve always loved creating. I never could have imagined all the different rooms, celebrations, and people God would allow me to create for along the way.

And for that, I’m really, really grateful. 🤍

POV: Your job is balloons, but somehow you keep getting invited to celebrate people doing really important things. 🥹
For the last two years, I’ve had the privilege of creating the balloon arch for the Lone Star College EMS graduation!

Two years. Two classes. So many future first responders.
And while I’m obviously obsessed with the balloons… it’s the why behind them that means the most to me.

Because at the end of the day, I’m not just decorating a room.
I’m helping create the setting where families take the pictures they’ll keep forever.

I’m adding a little celebration to a really big milestone.
I’m getting to play a tiny part in moments that matter.

So on Labor Day, I’m celebrating the people behind the work.
The ones who study, sacrifice, show up, serve, and choose careers where someone else’s worst day might become their workday.

To this year’s graduates: congratulations. Go do something good with what you’ve learned. ❤️💙
And thank you, Lone Star College EMS, for letting me be part of this tradition. 🚑✨

A little behind-the-scenes story from this sweet ballerina setup 🎀🩰

Last weekend, I showed up with a car full of balloons, ready to install this setup onto the backdrop the family already had. I figured I’d be there a little over an hour and then be on my way.

Well… that didn’t exactly happen. 😂

The girls quickly became my little setup crew, helping me place the bows, asking a million questions about how balloons work 😂 and keeping me entertained the entire time. And somewhere along the way, I realized I was having way too much fun to be in a hurry.

The kids eventually went down for a nap, and I got to hang out and talk with Mom and Dad for a while. We were just chatting and getting to know each other when somehow the conversation turned to music.

I mentioned that I listen to pretty much everything, and then found out that THEY LOVE HIP-HOP. 😂

I don’t know why I was so surprised, but I absolutely was. Needless to say, we bonded over our love of hip-hop while I finished up their daughter’s birthday setup, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day.

And honestly, this is the part of owning a balloon business that you don’t really see in the pretty pictures.

Of course I love creating the setups. I love the balloons, the details, the finished product, and seeing everything come together.

But I REALLY love the people.

The conversations. The laughs. The kids asking me 47 questions while I’m trying to work. 😂 Finding random things in common with new friends. Getting to know the families behind the celebrations.

Sometimes I show up thinking I’m just setting up balloons and leave feeling like I made a little connection with a family I’ll genuinely remember. 🤍

And this family was definitely one of those. 🎀
