Historic North Hall We are committed to our mission to preserve and restore this Historic North Hall and to serve the community through the arts.

The North Hall was built originally as a schoolhouse in 1795. Today it serves as a multi-purpose community center for public and private use. This public building is owned by the Town of Huntington and is maintained by the North Hall Association

Local favorite Old Country Road band revives the traditional country music classics in a free outdoor concert on Sunday September 11, 2022 at 2pm on the Huntington Town Green as part of the Historic North Hall Arts Festival.

This 5-member local band promises to “take folks back to the golden years of country music,” according to member Ron Jackson. The program will include vintage songs from the 1950’s and 1960’s, including tunes by Hank Williams, Webb Pierce, Carl Smith and a “host of others with some bluegrass music mixed in.”

Keeping the vintage country sound alive are Ron Jackson on rhythm guitar and vocals, Chris Bouchard on banjo, Dave Helman on stand-up bass, Mark Leveille on mandolin and Dan Pilachowski on flat-picking guitar.

All performances are free (donations accepted). In case of rain Town Common concerts will be held in Stanton Hall.

The Huntington Town Common and Stanton Hall are located at 24 Russell Rd on Rt. 20 and Rt.112 in Huntington, MA.

Wind Down Summer with World Music and Latin beats on the Huntington Town Common Sunday Sept.19

Caribbean Trio JoseGonzalez and Criollo Classico play the final concert of the Historic North Hall Association’s free outdoor music series bringing the cool rhythms of world music and Latin beats to the Huntington Town Green on Sunday September 19th at 2pm. In case of rain, this free 1-hour concert will be held inside Stanton Hall next to the Green.
This powerhouse trio of Jose Gonzalez(Guitar and Cuatro), Ahmed Gonzalez (Flute and Guitar) and Rene Gonzalez (Latin Percussion) plays a festive mix of Latin, Jazz, Spanish, Brazilian, Smooth Jazz, World, Classical, Pop and Caribbean music. Jose Gonzalez has performed at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Gala, the University of Massachusetts Fine Arts Center Gala, Hartford Latin Jazz Festival, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Berklee Performance Center and the Green River Festival.

BOB SPARKMAN TRIO BRINGS BLUES, JAZZ, AND SWING TO HUNTINGTON TOWN GREEN
The Bob Sparkman trio will delight with American jazz, blues, and swing classics on the Huntington Town Green on Sunday September 12th at 2pm as part of the Historic North Hall Association’s free outdoor concert series of the summer. In case of rain, this free 1-hour concert will be held inside Stanton Hall next to the Green.
The trio’s performances usually include classics from the American songbook, including classics like “Ain’t Misbehavin” by Fats Waller, “Memphis in June” by Hoagy Carmichael, and some Dixieland stompers like “Fidgety Feet.”
Musicians Bob Sparkman and Clifton “Jerry” Noble jr. have been performing together for over twenty years. Bob Sparkman played in New York City jazz clubs before meeting performer and composer Jerry Noble, who has written music played by the Boston Chamber Music Society and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, among others.
A writer by trade, Kara Noble has been playing instruments recreationally since she was 10 years old and joined The Bob Sparkman Trio in 2016. (

Grab a chair and a friend to enjoy the best of country music and bluegrass on Huntington Town Green on Sunday August 29th at 2pm as part of the Historic North Hall Association’s third free outdoor concert of the summer. Old Country Road keeps the sound of vintage traditional country music alive with songs from the Golden Age of country music and bluegrass favorites, including songs by Hank Williams, Carl Smith, Webb Pierce, Kitty Wells, Faron Young, and many others.
