Good afternoon everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update on beach for this season. I am not intentionally ignoring anyone/ I just don’t have answers yet. We currently have the yard torn apart- see photos below. We need to finish this project before I can start cleaning up the beach area & all my plumbing down there busted in the last freeze, so we’re going to be set back I know for sure the month of may. I’m thinking possibly open 2nd weekend in June around the 15th- but nothing is set in stone yet.
We haven’t changed anything and don’t plan to this year at the beach, we did other things with our time and money this year so if you liked it last year- perfect! ☀️

This season will be a short one so it will be priced a little differently.

•Saturdays will be reserved for large events unless they don’t sell out.
We will have standard package options for Fridays, Sundays, and I don’t mind doing a few weekdays if you would like to book one of them tho, so don’t worry!

If you’d like to book a tentative date for June 15-august 3rd, shoot me a message and I will try my hardest to make it happen!

I get asked all the time about the coloring we add to our pond and how we keep it blue.

This is the natural color - almost all fresh water at this point after the massive rain from last couple weeks + last summers drought.
I couldn’t tell you last time we added dye. It’s not super blue on it’s own, but it stays a decent pretty color and you can almost see through it too!
We drained it 2 years ago and dug layers of sludge off the bottom which I think made a huge difference, i figure itll have to be maintained every few years like that as well.

Clean up starts this week 🛶

Good morning!
I just wanted to post an updated reminder that as of now 2024 season will Be postponed, we will not be ready to open in May.
We’ve started new projects and I’m not sure how long they’ll take to complete.

I might possibly be able to Host a few events in June, July, & August, but for now we’re waiting to see what those months look like for us- when we come back, it’ll be better than ever so stay tuned!

Today is our last event of the season!
It’s been a great one!

We’re excited to invest in ourselves & this “accidental business” since we know it’s a success- couldn’t do it without you all! Thank you to everyone who’s came out and celebrated with us!

•We may be back open next summer but it’s all tentative- based on the construction & weather.

One more weekend left of events & that will be all for season ‘23!

It’s been such a great season, but a HARD one. Our pooor place took a beating with the heat this year and looks awful.
I just wanted to say thank you again to all of you that came out and dealt with the heat with us.
We’ve never gone a whole summer without a drop of rain so it was a new experience but
Thankfully we were able to Pump water from my dads creek to make it this far.

We don’t think we will be able to
Open for ‘24, I am not sure yet as far as construction goes how that’s going to look. We do plan to be back open in ‘25 tho, so we’re not going to be gone for long if we are! I will keep the page open for those who are wanting in/ (it’ll be a last min booking sorta thing prob after july 4Th)

We’re adding a few things to the venue this coming year + adding a whole new Venue/ theme for parties! I’ve been asked a lot about hosting weddings but I am just not really up
For that, parties are more my thing!
We realize there’s not a whole lot to do in town for kids.. so …Stay tuned, we want to be your ultimate party venue… winter too 😉🐴 🏖

Even tho We had a lot of cancellations this week due to the heat, we still had a nice weekend out here! Thank you guys for choosing to bare this heat with us! I know it’s miserable.

Also, Super thankful for my husband being home this week and taking the time to help me for sure.

He has been busy- building fountains, turning the water pump on every hour, fixing sand for me, scooping pine straw with a pool net, and making sure fountains stayed in the water in between events even if it was only for an hour at a time!
There’s so much work to be done out here- extra help is always appreciated.
100+ degree weather and water is such a fight, but we’re in it to win it!
Hopefully we can last until rain.

We’ve been trying to soak up the last week of summer break with our kiddos but also prepping to reopen for events this weekend. We took a week off and ran pumps steadily, the water is finally at a good temp- doesn’t feel like warm bath water anymore.
I know I sound dramatic when I make posts, but water liability is just crazy, so I have to take All precautions I can to protect you guys.

•We thought we had a little bit of algae trying to show up by evening times- we realized this is from the pine treees on the dam that died- they’re all throwing a rusty film so we need to cut those asap.
•It’s so hot, I’m trying to scoop as much horse p**p away as I can so you don’t smell it- I know that sounds crazy but we do so many things out here to ensure you have a good time.. usually if we have weekend events.. the work starts on Wednesday!
•My husband built a shallow water pump for the shoreline today too, it has cooled that area down a ton.. I’ll run these until your events begin!
•we’ve been practicing leading the ponies into the pond for a better swimming encounter- this heat is making them love it even more!
•we had plumbers come
Out this week to fix the shower.. what I thought was a simple project was actually a tear apart the whole building project, but we’re back running with no leaks!

We’re almost ready to see you guys this weekend!

Good morning!
Another weekly update for 7-29-23

We’re fried! It’s looking like fall around here already. Grass is dead and it’s like a dust bowl out here.

Water levels are sitting around 6 1/2, 7 feet right now, we’re pumping enough to maintain that level.
We closed this weekend to keep the fountains running steady & filter the water- I was hoping honestly closing a weekend would bring us closer to some rain in the forecast but it’s not looking like that’s going to be the case.

We have an ice truck delivery Scheduled for next weekend and we will host All events for august 4-6 and from there will be pending fresh rain. There’s only so much we can do with the water we have to keep it safe & it’s costing so much to maintain the levels that if it continues, I will be in the hole $ & will have to close.

•I am not taking new bookings as we are pending weather- we will plan week to week from here til end of season. 💔🐴🏖

All it takes is one great rain, and we’ll be fine- but it just hasn’t happened this season!

It’s been hard to keep the water going this season, but man, isn’t it beautiful 🐴🎉🏖
