When you need something done and it concerns your own welfare, You have to take control.
My new surgery date is December 22. Miriam mentioned that I will probably be in the hospital over Christmas. I said I was in sick bay with a very bad sprained ankle when I was in the navy in the 50's.

We have just returned from a bucket list odyssey that took 27 days, 7578 miles, through 4 Canadian provinces, 12 states, with a lunch with colleagues of Miriam’s in Portland Oregon, dinner with a friend and his wife of over 45 years of Stephen’s in Sydney Nebraska, dinner with our grandson and his parents in Highland Park Illinois and lunch with our granddaughter in Three Rivers Michigan. Kudos to my amazing wife that planned this trip over many months. (I missed two states)
