Tuvimos el honor de ser parte de este hermoso evento y compartir espacio con tantas empresas Latinas que inspiran, empoderan y fortalecen nuestra comunidad. ✊🏽✨💗

A huge thank you to for bringing this event to life. More than anything, she showed us what community is truly about creating space for people to connect, support one another, celebrate culture, and grow together. Her leadership, humility, and genuine spirit were felt throughout the entire event. 🤎👏🏽✨

We were excited to share and promote our Los Alebrijes Summer Program, where children explore mindfulness, creativity, and cultura while building a deeper connection to themselves and their roots. 🌿🎨

✨ Thank you so much to for having us and for always including us in your uplifting community resource fairs. We truly appreciate the opportunity to share space with your community and bring a little piece of our space into your school. 💛

We were honored to connect with families while promoting our Los Alebrijes Summer Program and sharing the heart behind what we do. Through fun and engaging activities, we invited children to explore different tools and modalities they can use when experiencing big emotions. Creating spaces where we can openly talk about emotional wellness and healthy coping skills feels especially important during these times.

This summer, we’re beyond excited to welcome professionals from different industries into our space to share their knowledge and inspire our youth. Together we’ll be exploring stress management, emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, joy, creativity, and building confidence so children can feel celebrated, empowered, and enriched. 🌈✨

Thank you again for welcoming us with so much love. We look forward to continuing to serve, connect, and be part of many more KIPP events in the future! 💫

Thank you to the City of Huntington Park for having us at this year’s Art Walk! 💛 It was such a beautiful day connecting with families, sharing space with our community, and seeing little ones explore creativity through sensory play, crafts, and our bilingual book library.

Moments like these remind us why community matters. 🥹✨

🌞✨ LOS ALEBRIJES SUMMER PROGRAM IS BACK ✨🌞

Tickets are officially LIVE for this year’s Los Alebrijes Summer Program! 🔗🤎🌻✨

Join us for a week rooted in mindfulness, cultura, creativity, and self-expression where children will explore the five senses through hands-on cultural activities, healing practices, art, movement, music, and connection. 🌱✨

Each day will include mindful lessons, sensory experiences, and cultural activities designed to help children feel grounded, confident, creative, and connected to their raíces.

✨ THIS YEAR’S DAILY THEMES ✨

🍉 Day 1 — Healing Foods & Paletas de Fruta
Children will explore mindful eating and healing foods while creating refreshing fruit paletas inspired by traditional sabores and cultural connection through food.

🧘🏽 Day 2 — Grounding with Yoga & Creando con Barro
A calming day focused on movement, grounding, and sensory expression through yoga and clay creations inspired by traditional barro artistry.

🌿 Day 3 — Aromatherapy & Hierbas que Curan
Children will explore healing herbs, calming scents, and create their own aromatherapy experiences rooted in wellness and ancestral traditions.

🎶 Day 4 — Sound Baths & Canciones con Maracas
A day of rhythm, sound healing, and music where children will experience calming sound baths and create their own musical maracas.

🎨 Day 5 — Building Self-Love & Pintando Quién Soy
Children will close the week with self-reflection and create self-portraits celebrating identity, confidence, and inner beauty.

Cultivando Flores 🌻✨An intimate writing and connection space for mothers and their children, where words become bridges and the heart becomes the guide.

This Saturday, May 9th, from 1–3 PM at The Fern, we gather to reconnect through presence, reflection, and love.

Each registration is for two people and includes two flower bouquets, as a reminder of what blossoms when we truly meet one another.

We’re super excited to be celebrating Mental Health Awareness next Month and to be partnering with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health to bring these intentional and supportive workshops to our community!

We’re looking forward to welcoming our community into next month’s scheduled workshops created with intention to support you on your growth journey.

Each gathering is designed to uplift, restore, and equip our community with tools for everyday life and emotional well-being. Throughout May, we’ll be continuing our Wellness Wednesdays, focusing on topics such as emotional wellness, stress management, anxiety, depression, and building emotional intelligence creating space to slow down, learn, and reconnect with ourselves and one another. But we are kicking of the first Wellness Wednesday with a relaxing sound bath with our amazing Amiga

We’re also excited to share a special upcoming Mother-Daughter Workshop taking place May 9th, in collaboration with , who will be facilitating this beautiful experience. More details will be shared this week…stay tuned 💛🌻✨
