A few of you know that we've been MIA in posting due to a long health journey I started last August. A simple gallbladder surgery turned into a life-altering catastrophe when the doctor not only shredded my insides but was negligent in his post-op care. This resulted in multiple stints in the hospital and major reconstructive surgery, living with tubes & bags as my insides were sewn back together. I'm so grateful to the amazing doctors at UCI and the Hepatology and IR teams who have been putting me back together since October. Yesterday I walked out of UCI (hopefully for the last time) with all my drains removed and just two bandaids left on my poor tummy which now looks like a roadmap with bullet holes. I have shed so many tears during this whole ordeal but yesterday were tears of joys with lots of hugs from all the nurses and doctors that I have gotten to know so well.
I could have never made it without all the love and support from family and friends.
A big special hug and lots of love goes out to my amazing daughter, Jessica!! ❤️ She became my Mama Bear, nurse, taxi driver, therapist and overall cheerleader❤️😘
So, it's time to get back to work! I have really missed all of my vendor friends and being part of a couple's love story.
Let's go!!
