I think this is a powerful and emphatic "YES!" Yes, the Arts makes us better people.

No one asks engineers or physicians to explain the purpose of their profession, but people who work in fine arts and literature, music and theater can expect to defend a career choice that was, at the very least, financially unwise.

We have some news!! OCCS is moving to Anaheim! Read about this historic move at http://www.anaheimartscouncil.com/news_spot.php?id=279&bnr=spot. We are VERY EXCITED! Come and support OCCS at our first Anaheim event, Dec. 15th.

Ask people in Anaheim if they’ve heard of the Orange County Choral Society and the likelihood is they’ll say No. But all that’s about to change. For this very fine choral society, currently based out of Huntington Beach, has made the decision to move to Anaheim.
