As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be more muscular and more athletic. I played sports as a kid but got caught up in the partying lifestyle in high school and as a young adult. At the age of 26 I made a decision to join a gym and started bodybuilding. I was immediately in love with training and slowly started to live a healthier lifestyle. I soon after did my first competition. Through the experience of dieting and training for this show I realized how much I loved the process and also if I could do that I could do anything else in life I set my mind to! This is something I tell anyone and everyone who is thinking of competing.
In 1994 I started working in the supplement industry first at a retail GNC store then for the biggest sports nutrition company in the country then for a couple major manufacturers. Part of my job was attending and sponsoring Bodybuilding shows for the NPC. I was fortunate to be surrounded by what was my passion the lifestyle of health , fitness and bodybuilding. In 2009 I was given my first opportunity to promote a show in NC. I now have 5 shows total in NC, SC and one in VA with my close friend and legend Jay Cutler!
KD Promotions does its very best to cater to the athletes needs. Being an athlete myself for so long I feel puts me in a unique position to understand the sacrifices and what you all go through getting ready to step on that stage no matter what division. We do everything possible to make it a day to remember and ensure you have the best experience possible.
