Super excited to get the news that I passed my certification as a Certified Special Events Professional® (CSEP)! This pairs pretty well with my Certified Meetings Professional (CMP) :) While I don't believe certifications are the only proof of your professional competance, I do believe that they help show your commitment to excellence and growth in your industry. They force you to stay current through continued education and, most importantly, help to drive a standard in an industry that has an influx of entry-level, self-declared, experts.

The CSEP designation is the only certification within the meetings/incentives/conventions/exposition (MICE) industry that signifies competency in all facets of the special events industry.
As a recipient of the CSEP credential, you have earned a unique distinction as a knowledgeable and experienced events specialist. You have joined an elite global community of highly motivated events professionals who are committed to the enhancement of individual and professional performance.

Are you ready to meet THE.MOST.GORGEOUS couple you have ever seen? Eric is my very best friend’s little brother. I have known him since he was in elementary school and he HAS been this charming since grade school. And his bride, Lauren…isn’t she absolutely stunning? I cannot stop staring at her in these pictures, and believe me, not a person at the wedding could take their eyes off of her either.

The bride had a clear vision of her wedding day and artistically combined whimsical, rustic and pure glamour. This couple mastered the details to create an entire day of jaw dropping “wow” moments. Every moment of the wedding had meaning: The bride’s dad built a life-size picture frame to hang polaroids with personal messages from each guest; they had custom-made games to play on the lawn of the vineyard during cocktail hour; they brought their favorite (amazing) band to play; their cake table was filled sweet treats they love and guests were greeted by a late night Taco Truck as they left the party.
