Most of us have heard of the extreme case of animal cruelty and torture at CDE Exotics in Wilkes Barre.

What we don’t see all over the news are the ones doing the work. Like Mr. Rogers said, “look for the helpers.”
Well I’ve looked and I’ve found them and I’m feeling pulled to help them in return. And now I’m calling on you to help me, help them… so they can continue using their expertise to care for these poor, beautiful souls that suffered greatly and are now able to experience what safety and love and care feel like.
Soaring Spirits Sanctuary took in 10 large birds, many in absolute critical care… malnourished, missing limbs, living in filth… you name it, they suffered it. 🥺
The cost of this is enormous. The vet care, the critical care food, the housing of these birds etc… they need our help!
All bouquets sold this week will go towards purchasing a large floral order for the big fundraising event on October 18th, so that 100% of proceeds from that day can go directly to Soaring Spirits to help care for these birds and others just like them.
There will also be information on rescue and adoption, bios of the CDE-rescued birds, and opportunities to donate directly via Zeffy (like Venmo but for non-profits) and purchase from their Chewy Wish List.
