Just outside of Paris in the fall of 2024, my business and my mindset transformed. I took a risk and traveled across the world to learn from some of the best photographers and planners in the world. Before this experience, I constantly played small and stayed in my comfort zone. This retreat pushed me in many ways. I grew immensely in my confidence, gained insights from legends, and built relationships I still have to this day. This retreat marked a fundamental shift - one that I will forever be grateful for.

Whenever I make big decisions like this, I always think “what do I want my kids to learn from this.” As hard as it was to leave my three babies, I kept thinking about how I want them to pursue their own dreams someday. To see their mom living out her aspirations and know that anything is possible.

From one of the sweetest, most heartfelt first looks I’ve ever witnessed to the soft pink hues thoughtfully woven through each detail, this day held so much beauty and intention. There were quiet, meaningful moments with loved ones, joyful laughter echoing throughout, and a kind of warmth you could feel in every space. brought the celebration to life - filling the night with energy, music, and a dance floor that stayed full all night.

I figured after sharing that this is one of my favorite images that it was time for a permanent place on my feed.

Every detail of this August day felt exquisite - from the horse-drawn carriages to the elevated fashion, from the scenic views to the joy that radiated through every moment.

And yes, the butterfly in slide five is real (no ai)! I remember culling this gallery and gasping at how beautiful it was.

Lots of new faces here, so it felt like the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Rachel — and becoming a wedding photographer has been my dream since I was twelve years old. What once felt like a far-off hope is now my everyday reality. After photographing 300+ weddings around the world, I still don’t take a second of it for granted.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Payton — the most joyful, optimistic person I have ever met. Last week we drove 6+ hours to Niagara Falls with our kids, only to find it completely covered in fog. His response? “I like it better this way — it’s mysterious” (Last slide for proof). He’s a middle school teacher who writes math songs for his students and truly makes the world brighter wherever he goes.

Together we love to travel. Early in our marriage, we made a promise to renew our vows on our favorite Greek island every decade — and it’s become one of our most meaningful traditions. Along the way, we’ve explored places like Spain, Italy, Portugal, Tulum, and many more. We have three incredible kids who are the center of our world and love ice cream and chocolate as much as we do.

A few little things about me —
• I love Jesus
• I’m half Canadian
• The Parent Trap was my favorite movie growing up
• We’ve done refugee foster care and hope to again someday
• I used to love neutrals but now I’m fully embracing color
• I’m a perfectionist and very Type A
• Fashion is a huge source of my inspiration
• And we love playing and watching just about any sport — volleyball, basketball, pickleball, etc

Truly so grateful you’re here.
I love what I do, and I hope you can feel that through every image I share.
