because i believe so freaking wholeheartedly in every one of them.

you don’t end up in this room unless there’s a part of you that knows you’re here to build a different kind of business in this world.

one that gives you the freedom to live a really beautiful life, yes.

but also one that means something to you.

and getting to put my hands on these women’s businesses, learn what they care about, see the bigger vision they have for their work + then watch them actually go out into the world and chase it…

THAT is the coolest part of what i get to do.

I think a lot of us started businesses because we wanted a life that felt bigger.

And then somewhere along the way we got really good at being business owners 😅

We learned how to sell…
- how to market…
- how to serve our clients really freaking well…
AND how to make money. 👏🏻

And suddenly the business that was supposed to give us freedom has a calendar that’s slowly creeping into every other area of our lives.

we’re here to build the kind of business that feels so deeply connected to your purpose that making money almost feels like the side effect of becoming who you were always meant to be.

the kind where those little side interests you’ve always had finally make sense.

where the things you’ve lived through, the things you can’t stop talking about, the way your brain works, the way you naturally move through the world + the potential you haven’t even began to touch yet all have a place.

I don’t think you came here just to pick a profitable niche and get really good at selling stuff on the internet.

I think there’s a version of your business that could only exist because you do… and I want you to find her.

I want you to know yourself so deeply that you stop building based on what everyone else is doing and start creating from what was already written into you.

as women, we are made to create + receive.

so create something that matters.

build something that leaves people different because you existed.

build the business your soul already signed up for.

and then let yourself receive the money, freedom, experiences, impact + entire life that comes with it.

We’re always manifesting…
so what actually makes 8/8 different?

The answer is… technically, nothing.

At least not in the way social media makes it sound.

The Lion’s Gate Portal isn’t a once-a-year moment when the universe suddenly starts granting wishes.

It’s a modern spiritual tradition inspired by a few different things coming together:

☀️ The Sun moving through Leo (the Lion)

⭐ Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, becoming visible again before sunrise after being hidden by the Sun. This is called its heliacal rising and was deeply significant in ancient Egypt because it marked the flooding of the Nile, bringing renewal, abundance, and the start of a new cycle.

∞ And the symbolism of 8/8, a date many people associate with abundance, infinity, and personal power.

So while the ancient Egyptians didn’t celebrate an “8/8 Lion’s Gate Portal” the way it’s talked about today, the symbolism behind this season is rooted in very real astronomical events and humanity’s long history of using the sky to mark new beginnings.

Which, to me, is the most beautiful part.

Humans have always created rituals around moments that mean something.

But the date itself doesn’t actually hold all of the power. What we do with it is much more in our own hands.

But choosing a moment to draw a line in the sand has always helped us become someone new.

That’s why I love 8/8.
