Officially season and we are here for it….
And by here for it I mean it 3 locations currently and rotating between locations for pulling/prepping etc.
Not at all how I want fall season to be (planned on being settled by end of August, but we will get there!), here we are and making it work/the most of it 🤪
We still have a bit of availability for the fall to add all our character and charm that speaks to you to your wedding!

WE COULD USE SOME EXTRA HANDS! 🤍

Things are growing and changing behind the scenes at A Bushel & A Peck! We’re currently moving our Lenoir + Hudson locations into our new home in Valdese — while heading straight into our busy fall wedding season. 🍂

So we’re looking to add some extra seasonal help to our crew!

This is perfect for someone looking to make some extra money without necessarily committing to a set weekly schedule. Hours and opportunities will vary based on our needs and your availability — anything from a few hours here and there to more regular help throughout the season.

There are LOTS of ways we could use you:

• Warehouse organization + projects
• Cleaning & prepping rental inventory
• Pulling and recovering orders
• Dishes + glassware prep
• Moving, loading + unloading
• Wedding/event deliveries + pickups
• Setup + breakdown
• Painting + projects around our new space
• Handyman/general repair work
• And plenty of other behind-the-scenes fun!

Some roles are more physical, while others aren’t — and we’re open to different ages, experience levels, skills and availability.

Have a special skill we haven’t mentioned? Tell us! Photography, social media/content creation, sewing, upholstery, woodworking, calligraphy/signage, organizing, creative projects… you never know what we may need.

📍 Current work may be in Lenoir, Hudson + Valdese, as well as wedding/event locations throughout the surrounding area.

💵 Paid hourly — rates vary based on role, experience and level of responsibility.

While we’re primarily looking for extra/seasonal help right now, there may be opportunities to grow into more regular work for the right fit.

Mismatched has range. 🤎✨

It can be colorful and eclectic. Romantic and whimsical. Funky and unexpected. Beautifully rustic.

And it can also look like this — clean, natural, sophisticated and cohesive, with just a sprinkle of whimsy to make every place setting a little more interesting and unique.

For this reception, they selected our White + Gold china collection, Gold flatware and Smoky Chocolate goblets, creating the prettiest subtle variation from seat to seat.

Nothing has to perfectly match to feel beautifully pulled together. The slight differences in pattern, shape and tone add character while allowing the overall table to feel calm and cohesive.

And that seemingly effortless mix gets a little help behind the scenes. ✨

When we pull, prep and package our mismatched collections, we hand-place the plates and goblets in an intentional rotation, distributing the different styles throughout so the overall mix feels balanced rather than random.

That’s one of our favorite things about mismatched collections: they can become whatever fits your day.

A whole lot of pretty from one very full day. 🤎🌿

We started dark and early at 5 AM and created cozy little gathering spaces throughout the venue—vintage lounges, collected details and even a shelf filled with unique potted plants for guests to take home as favors. 🪴

And somehow, these photos only captured some of it!

A huge welcome to Katie, who jumped right into her first event with us AND managed to capture these beautiful images while she was at it. 📷🤎

After setup, a storm, a power outage and a 9 PM pickup, we finally rolled home around 2 AM—tired, happy and very grateful for a day spent making things pretty.

And this is only the inside…wait until you see outside. 🌿✨

One wedding. A whole lot of bang for your buck. 🤍

We hear it all the time—when the budget starts getting trimmed, a lounge can feel like one of those “do we really need it?” things.

But this is exactly why we love them.

This one medium lounge became part of so much of the wedding day—a beautiful backdrop for detail shots, a gathering spot while the girls got ready, a seat for the groom while he finished getting dressed, portraits with the bride and her girls, and a full wedding-party photo that might just be one of our favorites.

And after all of that? It was still a lounge. A comfortable, intentional place for guests to gather, sit, talk, set down a drink, and actually enjoy throughout the celebration.

A lounge isn't just extra seating.

It creates a space within a space. It adds warmth, personality, texture and function—and, as these photos prove, it can become part of the story of your entire day.
