Be a part of our summer magic!💫

A few summer flower subscriptions are still available for pick up at the Sandbar Cafe in Addison! Pick-ups are Thursdays, July - September. You'll get 10 weeks of fresh cut flowers in a simple mason jar....take them home and arrange in a vase, or gift them to a friend 🧡

This year, we are growing some new flowers and different varieties. More lisianthus this season, focal scabiosa, and gorgeous delphinium, as well as tons of dahlias as always!

Next up is peony season🩷

The plants are looking good! The big romantic and sweetly smelling blooms will be used in so many June wedding bouquets, workshop centerpieces, and standing orders.

Your best bet to get your hands on some is to join the pink peony club. Only a few tickets remain for our on farm workshop!

Just like all spring flowers, you got to get them before they are gone for another year💞

Winnie Cooper, the original black dog, is 12 today 🖤 🐾

She's a very independent lady, gives good snuggles, loves hanging out with me in the garden especially in her green bean patch, and is a gentle girl who loves an adventure, especially if it's at the beach! She loves all people so much and will scream at you to let you know.

She's the best even when she's bringing all the sass. We are so lucky to have spent all these years with her!

There are lots of tulips heading out the door soon for Mother's Day, and gifts, and for self care. Thank you so much for your orders💛

When you receive your tulips 🌷, most of them will be closed and small and tight. Give them a fresh cut and get them into a vase of water (unsoftened is best for flowers and plants).

☀️ Tulips are phototropic, meaning they grow and bend toward the light. By morning, your tulips will be standing straight up, and from there, you get to watch them grow and open and somtimes even change color. If your tulips get too tall and floppy for the vase, cut a couple inches off the stems so they are more supported.

You can find tulips on Saturday morning, May 10th, in Hudson at Bean Creek and Main Street Perk, and in Addison at the Sandbar Cafe.

Tulip season is here, and watching them open and grow and change each day is something that brings me so much joy💛 This tulip is called Columbus, and its one of the best!

When you receive tulips from our farm, they will start out tight, closed, and small, but throughout the week, you'll see such big, beautiful changes. Receiving them this way gives you the most amount of time to enjoy them.

Tulips will be available ALL week next week for porch pick up, but especially Friday-Sunday for Mother's Day gifts.

Wrapped bunches (are always) available for porch pick up, but will also be at Main Street Perk and Bean Creek Garden Center in Hudson AND at the Sandbar Cafe in Addison on Saturday May 10th. Please send a message to order!

I'll never get over this one💛

Such a stunning couple, gorgeous style and details, and the most perfect venue. What a joy this was!

More buttery yellows in the mix for 2025 as well, and I can't wait! So many of these gorgeous flowers were grown on my farm, and the rest came from . Those roses had me swooning!

He's a lover of fetching his ball, any and all food, and outdoor activities, especially if they include water.

Growing Happiness.

Black Dog Meadows Flower Farm is a seasonal flower farm is located in Hudson, MI. We believe in growing healthy and beautiful flowers that help sustain our butterfly and bee populations. Our designs are inspired by nature and all its unfettered gifts. We grow, we forage, and we are inspired daily by the beauty that is cultivated in our flower fields and out in our wild meadows.

During the growing season, we offer a number of services: design work for weddings, selling wholesale to local florists and event designers, Growers Choice Floral Buckets for your DIY wedding and events in colors and styles of your choice, deliver gorgeous arrangements to your friends and loved ones, and can do floral bouquets, arrangements, or centerpieces for your dinner party, baby shower, wedding shower, or 4th of July bash.

During the off season and holiday season, we offer wreath or centerpiece workshops, fresh Christmas greens arrangements, and wedding or event floristy. Inquire at any time about scheduling a workshop or class for a holiday party, work function, or ladies day.

The 2020 growing season will be upon us soon and it is going to be a good one! We will be growing so much more variety, volume, and color choices. I cannot wait to work with you, flower for you, and grow...both outside and in.
