Penny came to Axe Play for a surprise 30th birthday party.

At some point, celebrating her birthday apparently wasn't enough…she decided to challenge an Axepert. 😂🪓

10 throws. Head-to-head. A little trash talk. Some great throws. Some…less great throws. And a whole lot of laughs along the way.

Happy 30th, Penny! Thanks for celebrating it with us — and more importantly, for being such a damn good sport.

They went back to school this week. And now… they already have three days off. 😂

Schedules get busy fast. Practices start. Homework starts. Everyone starts running in different directions again.

So use the long weekend for something that gets the whole family together — kids, parents, grandparents, cousins… whoever makes up your crew.

Sometimes you discover a new hobby. Sometimes you discover you're the CHAMPION. 🏆🪓

Sheila came to Axe Play with her coworkers and visiting colleagues from Elmo Motion Control, discovered she had a previously unknown talent for throwing axes... and proceeded to win the tournament. 😂

She left us an awesome 5-star review afterward, but considering she was part of an incredible group AND took home the championship, we're returning the favor:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — 6 stars for Sheila.

Corporate events don't have to feel corporate. Get everybody together, throw some axes, have some laughs and find out who has been secretly hiding championship-level axe skills from the rest of the office.

Corporate team building is supposed to look like this. 🪓😂

We had the crew from **Elmo Motion Control** at Axe Play last night — with team members from New Hampshire, Israel and Brazil all getting together for some axe throwing, laughs and a little friendly competition.

And by “friendly competition,” we mean a tournament that got **seriously competitive** by the end. Marie battled her way into the championship before Sheila ultimately took the win and the bragging rights. 🏆

This group was an absolute blast from beginning to end.

No awkward icebreakers.
No forced team-building exercises.
Just good people having a genuinely good time together.

Thanks to April for putting everything together and to the entire Elmo Motion Control crew for spending the night with us.

Summer Fest has a full day lined up with live music, food trucks, exhibits, kids activities and a huge laser show at 9 PM — and we’ll be right in the middle of it throwing steel.
